I love this thing!
I like wings and fries on game day but I don't like the prices that they charge for hit-or-miss quality. I was actually looking for a personal size deep fryer when these air fryers showed up in my search results and I decided to try the "healthier" alternative. I am very happy I did!I use a canola oil cooking spray to spray my wings and fries before placing them in the fryer and I have found that come out like they've been deep fried and juicy (wings) and the fries are crunchy while tender.I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. I made the mistake once of frying with no oil at all and the food cooked on so hard it took two days of soaking and scrubbing to get it off. So be for-warned -- at the very least, use a cooking spray and it will practically wipe clean. My only concern now is that I'm wanting to "fry" me some wings and fries everyday! I don't think you'll be disappointed with one of these. Go for it!!

but it is easy to use
For what I have used it for, it does the job well. Chicken works really well. Downfall is the the temperature is in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. There is no power switch, if the food is done you have to turn the temperature off and let the timer run out. The instructions with food prep is very limited, but it is easy to use. Will just have to experiment with different options of food, Over all it is a decent air fryer and that is what I bought for, to have more healthy options for cooking.

Sorry I bought it. It only goes up to 200+ degrees.

Dissapointed
Poor quality. One month, and the timer knob breaks. Very hard to see both temperature and timer numbers. It does cook good, but it is cheaply made. Spend a little more for a better quality machine.

I'm LOVIN IT !!
OH MY GOSH !!I LOVE this !!so it's Not Digital.I can turn a knob. the numbers are pretty small on the timerbut i'm ok with that. I know where they are now.the temp is in C. I've bought 4 additional as gifts !!cute little pics on top show you what temp to set and timer for optimal heating.I was VERY Skeptical.I don't find it useful for "COOKING" for heating frozen or processed foods thatwould typically go in a deep fryer, this thing is the best !!did I say that I LOVE IT ?!?!15 minutes will cook just about anything.the hardest part for me to figure out was where is the button to loosen the basket from the bowl LOLseriously !!you will save So much money in deep fryer OIL that it will pay for itself MANY TIMES OVER !!I've tried chicken tenders, wings, fries, okra, tator tots.I've reheated a small pizza. I think my favorite was the Meatballs !!crunchy on the outside and tender inside. nothing was Dried Out.so, if you're on the fence about this, take the plunge.it's affordable vs others brands in the $$$$.works just as well. Easy cleanup and takes up very little counter space.I actually put mine away after each wash.UPDATE: 6 weeks later. I hit the buy it again button THREE TIMES.as gifts. I guess you can only have ONE.why can't I get another one of these?I guess everybody wanted one for Christmas but I wish AMAZON wouldupdate AVAILABILITY Honestly.kinda disappointed and puts a bad taste in my mouth.

These Things Deserve the Hype
This thing is awesome. I have no idea why I never had an airfryer up until now. Seriously if you cook a lot you absolutely need one of these in your kitchen. Bacon wrapped cheese stuffed peppers, chicken tenders, potato wedges, fries, fried cauliflower, the list goes on as far as what you can make and the minimal amount of oil needed means you're eating something that is significantly healthier for you than if it were basked in a pool of oil. If you've seen videos of these things like me and are in any way curious about them I personally would recommend you just buy one.Fair warning, be careful when you take out the tray and shake stuff around though. I was doing it a little too hard and the latch came off causing the bottom of the tray that holds the excess oil/runoff seasoning fell off to the ground because the latch will give under too much weight. I never use a lot of oil so this didn't matter for me and only made me look a little dumb in front of my friend; just be aware to not manhandle the main tray too much when shaking your food around to avoid burning yourself or damaging your compartment.

Very happy with the purchase
Used it the first time last night on chicken wings and got good results. It took much longer than expected, but that was OK since this air fryer cooking style was new to us. I think the trick is to stack the food evenly, which means the quantity is less than other cooking method.Unlikely a regular deep fryer, there wasn't the oily smell in the kitchen after the food was done. This is definitely a plus for us.
