Cystic acne game changer!!!!
I’ve never really had bad acne before, but just started getting hormonal cystic acne surrounding my chin and mouth this past year. Nothing worked, and retinols and acids seemed to make it way worse. I started using this and it has truly been the only thing that has worked and does not overly dry out my skin. I use it every other day and it’s so easy, just 10 minutes and I rinse it off and I have had minimal cystic acne since. It has a little bit of a smell to it but I don’t mind it at all and it’s so worth it. If you struggle with cystic acne or really deep pimples, and closes comedones/texture please try this out for at least a month, I will probably be using it the rest of my life!

if de la cruz sulfur mask has no fans im dead
obsessed with this stuff, i buy the large size and my husband and i both love it. yes, there’s a very strong sulfur smell. to me it’s so worth it, because i can leave this bad boy on for as little as 2 minutes and it makes a huge difference literally overnight. usually i like to leave it for 7-10 minutes but sometimes i forget and leave it on for like 25.. but it’s so gentle to me that it never burns my skin or leaves any sensitivity, and i don’t even need soap to wash it off, i usually will though to just get the smell off. i’ve never had an issue with other people smelling it during the day, just right after use at night. so so so good and so cheap. i went on a three day trip one time and forgot it, i almost lost my mind. i feel like i have to use this every few days to keep texture and pigmentation at bay

Worked ok
Kids liked this. Said it worked ok. It was stinky and it was hard to get out of my towels.

JUST TRY IT
Guys, this CLEARED my blemishes and any acne that had within DAYS of using it. It’s drying only when you don’t follow up with a good moisturizer. I use it for spot treatment and my whiteheads on my nose. I use it on my entire body for spot treatments too and it WORKS. Just try it, it’s cheap and affordable. It has no smell. I finished this one and have bought their bigger jar cause it’s just THAT effective.

Melts into drippy sticky mess.
While the sulphur medication part of this product seems to be mildly effective, the white base it is in melts once it contacts warm skin, leaving a drippy, sticky mess. Would not recommend.

Just get it.
I have been struggling with severely inflamed hormonal acne on my chin due to horrible stress for over 6 months (work related and my wedding in 3 weeks). My skin has been so stubborn to any/all treatments. This worked within 3 days to calm all of the active acne and my blackheads are better too! I do take oral spironolactone, zinc, and a skin probiotic. Which I believe will be helpful if I'm consistent and will see results a couple weeks/months with that. But, I am in disbelief and beyond happy how responsive and quick this alone helped my skin. This has boosted my confidence! I have done hours of research and running through reviews on acne products, I have been eyeing this product for a while. So mad I haven't gotten it sooner. Seriously get it!I took the advice from other reviewers and applied it for several hours or overnight then wash the area (its an ointment so a little goes a long way). You can use it as a spot treatment or wide surface areas. Make sure to use a good moisturizer because it dries out the skin.

I’ll get the bigger one next time
This was so soothing for my face and cleared whatever breakout I had on my face. Usually everything burns but this did not. It’s sulfur so it does smell like it, but worth it. Life saver!!

thorough review with periodic updates
to start, i have always had acne- but i had gotten it under control. unfortunately due to a change in skincare, i developed fungal acne. if you know about fungal acne, you know it’s barely “acne” at all and more of a rash caused by yeast overgrowth. we all have yeast on our skin, but certain ingredients can cause overgrowth. the yeast gets trapped under the skin causing pimple like bumps. they look like hormonal acne, but are itchy and they spread like wildfire. they are also contagious meaning if you do skin to skin with someone who has fungal acne, you may get it too. After weeks of research, i decided sulfur was my best option. which brings me here.I tried this product back in 2016, but the smell was unbearable and i discontinued use. Trying it again in 2024, the smell is no where near as strong. I could only really smell it as i was rinsing. I had to wash twice to remove the smell. I used a (new) makeup brush to apply- it’s pretty thick, and leaves skin slightly greasy (goes away with wash). I recommend putting a cap over your hair while you wait as well. After one use, i obviously don’t see a difference. I have really sensitive skin and this didn’t irritate me at all, sulfur is generally a gentle treatment.I currently have a massive patch of fungal acne on both cheeks and jaw line. I will update results weekly.7 day update: Today makes a week using this product 1x daily. I honestly have not seen a huge difference. It appears as if the redness is down, but i am still noticing the acne spreading (as fungal does). I am still experiencing mild itching along my jawline. The odor is not nearly as bad as some comment have made it seem. It only really smells once you begin rinsing. I have very sensitive skin & rosacea and this has not irritated that. Today I am adding a zinc bar soap to my regime. I have developed a completely fungal safe skincare routine as of today (was struggling to find moisturizer. went with A’Pieu Madecassoside 2x cream) so hopefully this combination will cure my issues. I will update in another week :)2 week review: alright. i have to say this did almost nothing for me. it works for some but i needed something i bit stronger. i switched my routine to just the dermaharmony 2% pyrithione zinc face bar + a’pieu moisturizer and have noticed a massive difference. this was doing nothing except stinking.
