LXM 110V 50Hz Input 6V-12V-24V-110V Output Vertical Mount Single Phase Power Transformer (24V)

Received this transformer today.The case mounting apparatus was bent (not a big deal) and the output wires (blue) were nearly severed in multiple places; both near the winding's output as well as several places along the wires.Absolutely NO instructions accompanied the hardware...no product specifications, ratings, source/supplier, no indication of input nor output side; nothing! Just the kemlar bag and a less than pristine transformer.I was thinking with 1 bad review for this product may just be a fluke....after all, what can you screw-up with a transformer. Well, the seller proved me wrong.I would advise against this purchase.

I installed this in my furnace. When the system was switched on, this transformer overheated and was too hot to touch.I've been doing electronics for 50 years. It's not me.
