I love this straightener. It's better than any other professional straightener & I've tried a lot. My hair actually looks and feels healthier,after straightening with the tymo ring. It really works with 1 pass making straightening much quicker. I did order the tymo heat protectant spray to use,and this stuff is like magic in a bottle. My hair is so softwith this alone,and I can run my fingers through it all day. It also helps the straightening comb glide through the hair. It's not sticky or heavy at all and it comes in a nice little glass bottle. Now, I can't speak on how good this straightner is without the heat protectant spray. The straightener has different heat settings. I usually use the highest or right below for my coarse,wavy hair and it never feels damaging to my hair. I see no steam, although it gets hot enough you could burn your scalp if you're not careful. In the box you get 2 hair clips,a little brush, and a heat protector glove,which you'll realize is a must to use. The only con i have is where the temperature and power buttons are located. I usually always push it accidentally because it's right where you have to hold the straightener. I still highly recommend though. If you have thick/frizzy hair,you'd probably be better off with the tymo ring plus. For me, this one's perfect. If you're on the fence, buy it. It really is a great value and you'll be so happy you have it!

I saw this a while ago and did not get it because I thought it would just be another straighter that would disappoint me. I had bought the one that looks like a flat brush, but I hate it because it just takes too long and pulls a lot of my hair out and does not really do a good job. Then I started seeing TikTok videos showing this on all types of hair texture and it worked so well on even 4C hair and I was still not convinced until I saw someone with really puffy wavy hair straighten their hair in less than 10 minutes and she had extremely thick hair. I bought this and it straightened deep wavy hair like butter the first time and it even straightened synthetic hair like butter. I just got this today and I am glad I got it because this will probably sell out everywhere soon or cost an arm and a leg if you can find one. Hardly any hair comes out. It is my favorite item in a long time. It is worth the money! It also came with some accessories and a heat glove which was really really good quality. A lot of people sectioned their hair off I just combed it through my hair like a comb and it work really well, you should detangle your hair first though. Super easy to use and fast.

This is the second one of these I have bought. My first one I used for 4 years and the gray rungs started to break off so it was time for a new one. I use this every day to straighten my hair. It leaves my hair shinny too. I highly recommend. It works well.

It does what it says. Straightens your hair (yes, even the 4C THICK and CURLY hair) in basically 2 swipes. Doesn't burn the scalp since the hot parts are more on the inside of the device. The glove... use it bc sometimes the hair will be SUPER HOT to the touch. I starred from 2 strand twists/bantu knots. Combed and brushed it out and applied their heat protectant. The third picture is what my hair looked like after straightening. Just know that my hair has been in two strands twists for about 6-8 months. Redoing every two weeks. So it was just growing and has to be retrained to be straight again. That and the heatwave that has been going around my hair puffed up later to look like the 4th picture. Not trying to overheat my hair so maybe I'll braid it. Idk. My only con about this one that I got is that the power button is where my fingers normally fall when holding it so I was constantly turning it off by accident. Other than that it's a great product. Definitely worth the money given how fast I was able to do my whole head and not worry about burning myself.

Makes wash day soo much easier , it used to take 3-4 hrs to prepoo, wash, deep condition, blowout and straighten my hair before styles but this machine had cut out at least an hour & a half ! Very easy to use but does get very hot so use the glove they provide !

I don’t understand what the hype is all about. It is OK & does the job. Don’t think it’s anything super special. It’s good in that it is faster than a flat iron; however, I don’t think it does a better job. I have very thick, frizzy/curly hair. The flat iron leave my hair silky smooth whereas this tool does not. The flat iron definitely has the ion thing going on; didn’t see it with this tool. The real test will be when it rains or is humid .. will my hair get all frizzy again (like it does with similar products) or will it remain straight (like it does with a flat iron?The on/off button is in a spot where I kept inadvertently hitting it. Same with the up/down buttons.It’s inexpensive enough that it’s worth a try. Could be less expensive if they did away with the glove, 2 clips, cover, and small brush. Witsh there was an option to purchase it without all those unnecessary extras.
