Optoma UHD51ALV Smart Home Theater 4K Projector (Alexa & Google Assistant) (Renewed)

Let me start with projector itself. Very decent projector, bright, sharp , nice colors. I am not going to go to details as I knew exactly what I ordered based on research and reviews. Product as it is is not bad. There are better projectors outthere for much more money and worst ones as well.Let me go to actual renewed-refurbished unit.1.It came in plain box as noted in description, and right after i unpacked it something was rattling inside. I kept on turning it around and it kept on bouncing around. As IT technician myself i decided to open the cover and assess whether it was broken during the shipping or screw got loose. (That would decide whether to ship it back or keep it, especially when everything takes forever to ship because of COVID.) - It was screw that got loose from motherboard protective panel. I fixed it. Motherboard protective cover is smashed - looks like someone stabbed it with screwdriver to get it in place. Terrible job.2. Unit has missing lamp filter.3. Battery cover on the Remote control has broken tab, so cover would not stay on.4. Wireless USB Adapter for Alexa is MISSING. Not in the packaging with all the Cables. Just forgot to includeI would like to meet technician who refurbishes and renews these machines, because it is such a sloppy job I simply just can't believe. Definitely not worth money i paid for it....

Picture is great. It's a little glitchy, some time it won't power off with the remote. Other times the show goes black gor 5 seconds. My biggest complaint is that optomas app doesn't work. I called their support and just get we're working on it. That was a few months ago. So you can't connect it to your smart home. If that's important to you buy a different brand.

a good product totally hampered by the limited amount of places it can be installed. i need proper zooming and keystoning features. i cant design my entire living room around the one place that the projector needs to be placed to put up a good picture.

The lens has a light burn blemish on the inside. Picture quality is slightly decreased. Casting and using Alex requires two separate WPS dongles from Optoma.

Bought a refurbished unit. It glitched, would freeze, the remote completely stopped working and once the unit crapped out it was stuck with a blurry pictureThis is Crap.!!!
