It is sturdy and feels durable, giving confidence in its long-term use. Installation was simple, and it fits well with different ventilation setups. The airflow is adequate and performs its function without any issues. Additionally, it is easy to handle and keep clean.

Used this for a portable AC unit. OEM hose became brittle from the heat and was no longer serviceable. This has held up well and seems like it may last a lot longer.

I've had a couple of these 8" ducts in use for over a month, which have been repositioned repeatedly while handling nonstop blower output, and have had no problems so far. The multiple layers and the opaque black outside are well-suited for maintaining light discipline for plants that require it. The ductility is par for these kinds of ducts but it does feel more resilient than what you might pick up for your dryer. The ends have zero additional tolerance so getting then over the rim of a duct inlet or blower fan sucks, but that's pretty typical for flexible ducts.Recommended. It seems better quality than the average flexible duct and I don't think it costs too much more, although I didn't comparison shop. If you can get one with equal quality and ends that expand slightly to reduce the pain of getting them attached, I'd go that route, but this duct is probably still going to be better than most.

This is great for those awkward areas that don't quite line up. sturdy and thick, yet very flexible.

Product is as described. we use it to vent portable A/C units and it works as expected. We have two and they are an excellent solution.

Metal dryer vent from Lowe's was very flimsy and tore easily causing dryer to not dry well. I came on Amazon to find a replacement and there are tons of Chinese items.I ended up checking out virtually all of the options and landed on one that also had a coating on the outside to make it stronger. I can say that the plastic coating does exactly that: it helps control the hose while installing, has a good feel, and is sealed properly around the vent.My item came properly sized and it fit around both hose hookups. You'll notice reviews saying some of the hoses out there are too small which renders it unusable.Also I recommend getting clamps like the one below or something similar which makes installing the hose WAY easier and the cost of the clamp is less as well.-POWERTEC 70120 4 Inch Key Hose Clamp

I am soooo disappointed... With my inability to macguyver anything close to this hose.. I mean, I even tried using similar materials, like mylar instead of foil, insulating with Amazon delivery envelopes and wrapping with the equivalent of Saran wrap.. and my portable air conditioner barely dropped down below 80.. so as I write this inmy room,which is a nice cool 66, at the moment, I at least enjoy my sense of failure in a nice, cool room . But hey, at least I didn't buy the stupid window kit . That's right, so e Saran wrap, a lil bit of cardboard, and I shut that one down...So yeah, buy this hose.. at the low cost, and Amazon's same day delivery, at least you won't have to wait long or pay too much if you too are as stubborn as I am and take forever getting to the point of buying this for your portable AC. The proof is in the lack of sweat puddles.. this works, and works WELL!
