Just used it for a short time, and worked well. Makes the Switch playable for me instead of using those tiny joycons for my 3XL hands!

Ok i've been searching far and wide for a hand held option with the joysticks parallel to each other. This is the only one i could find. And for that alone it gets my praise. It also has nice thick handles that feel good to hold on to. I find joystick play much better this way, but my one gripe is that the buttons under the joystick are still awkwardly positioned, and to do things like holding the A button while using the right trigger is not comfortable. Still I've tried several options, the hori pro split, the fyre attachment, only joycons. This is so far the best of them, but still not perfect.

Update: After getting 2 replacements both with defects in the left joystick, I'm giving up. I really liked the design, but the quality control is terrible. 3 controllers in 6 months all with defects and problems.The first had a button that gets stuck.The second had a deformed left joystick.The third has a left joystick which thinks I'm pointing down-right whenever I point either down or down-left.And the joysticks were why I liked the controller in the first place!It is too late to return the first. I'll try and fix the sticky button if I can. I'm returning the other two.Side note: Why does amazon give me different return options?Original Review:Headline: Great controller that I'm buying it again because despite some issues, I want to keep using itI've been using mine for 5 months now, but just started having trouble with one button sticking. I opened it up, and the rubber dome was sticking. I've ordered another because I prefer this over other controllers I have used.Pros:1. Comfortable grip with a good design. It actually makes the switch look like a different device because of how integrated it looks with the screen.2. Great joysticks with the button where you press the stick down included. I like the concave shape to catch my thumbs on. It works well for side scrolling metroidvanias, diablo 3, and okay for skyrim.3. Easy to attach and take off for charging4. Functions completely from usb-c, no wireless lag, no separate battery to charge, etc. Functions in Airplane Mode.5. The internal components actually appear to be good quality with ribbons connecting components and no obvious spot soldering. It was easy to take apart and a little tricky to put back together.6. Symmetrical design! Joysticks straight across from each other. Coming from Playstation, I always disliked the asymmetrical buttons and joysticks.7. No drift! (My original left joycon had a drift in the joystick while playing skyrim. I remedied it by using the hori d-pad, but it was a little tight of a fit with the Satisfye grip.)Cons:1. No charging port pass-through, but it is extremely easy to take off and on without wearing out the usb-c port.2. Shoulder buttons feels mushy, and the left joystick gets stuck occasionally when pushed in for it's button and toward the edge at the same time (rare). Now one of the ABXY buttons is sticking. I actually rotated the rubber domes beneath, so the sticking button has switched. It is probably a fluke or something sticky got in. I saw nothing obvious while looking, the dome just was getting stuck. Hopefully the new one will have better luck, and then I'll have parts if I need them.3. The bottom of the grip could stick out a bit more like the playstation controllers do, but overall it is a vast improvement over the joycons.4. Plastic edges where the switch sits can be a bit sharp to the touch, but it won't damage your system.5. Bright red power light. I cover it with some black electrical tape.Overall, I gave it 4 stars because of the problem I just started having today with the button and the soft feeling shoulder buttons.

So far so good, have had this for one day now, and it works really smoothly with most games, no input lag or anything like that. And the buttons are in fact re-mapped so they match those on Switch. That is to say, this is not like the previous version where the buttons were using a non-standard layout.Something to keep in mind, the manual that comes with this is the most broken "Engrish" --ever--. All you need to know is one thing and that's how to enable the Ipega PG-9163. Go into System Settings on Nintendo Switch, on the left pane, scroll all the way down to the bottom, select Controllers and Sensors, turn "Pro Controller Wired Communication" from Off to On. And to be perfectly safe, restart your Switch, just in case. After this, you won't need the manual at all anymore.

This product shipped out and arrived on time. What I do not like about this controller is that the right hand joy stick isn't in the location where all other right hand joysticks are located. It makes it tough to use that joystick (typically for moving the camera angle) and pressing the buttons located below it. Usually most controllers right hand joysticks are to the left of the buttons. As far as quality for this product it holds the Nintendo switch very well the responsiveness of the inputs are pretty good for the price. But it is kinda bulky

I ordered this after seeing recommendation on the internet. When it arrived I was excited to try it because it was closer to having a more classic type button setting for my system. Unfortunately, although the power button lit up on the controller, nothing else responded. I made sure the system was securely nestled but I either a broken one, or it was not compatible. Good luck if anyone got better ipega.*** Amended Review ****I knew to get this to work the settings on my Switch under Pro Controller should be set to wired connection. Prior to trying it the settings were reset I think when I updated Switch. When I changed the settings to wired, it synced.== Now that I have tried it out I have the same issues others have had. The sticks seems too loose. The buttons feel like they are for someone with very large hands. The grips feel slippery. I think it’s a controller for certain games. Buy cautiously.

Works great no problems with device.

I like the fact that its bigger then the standard controller. I didnt really like the fact that the right joystick is over the bottons cause i would go to push the bottons and would hit the wrong one and it would mess my game up other then that is very comfortable for your hands
