Slay The Spire - Nintendo Switch

Slay the Spire is the best card game on the Switch! You play one of four heroes, each climbing the different levels of the spire, fighting monsters, uncovering treasure, unlocking secrets, upgrading items and cards, and coming face to face with different boss monsters!Your deck of cards start weak, but you acquire new cards throughout gameplay, and have the ability to make them more powerful. I personally have spent up to an hour on each gameplay, traveling random generated levels to see how far and powerful I can become before I am bested by a group of monsters or the main boss. The game is always different, always challenging, and keeps you wanting to come back for more.Slay the Spire should be one of those Switch carts to add to your collection. A very enthusiastic must buy!!!

The first order i made on this game arrived damaged, i made a replacement order that became "prohibited" whatever that means and couldnt be sent and i waited a month for it, talked to customer support and they said they would send another one but i havent heard anything about it or gotten an order update, i even sent back the damaged copy and will try to get a refund soon, the game itself is awsome tho, played it lots at a friends house, highly recommend the game but im leaving a 2 star for the shipping and customer support

Top-notch card game. If you've ever played a collectible/digital card game and enjoyed it, you will love this game.You spend each turn mitigating damage, applying buffs/debuffs, and doing damage to a variety of enemies. Much like Into the Breach, enemies telegraph their next attack, allowing you to strategize.It's fun. HOWEVER, when I bought this game via the default Amazon seller, Curbside Group, the game came sealed in the most loosly sealed box I had ever seen. Upon unwrapping the box and opening it, there was no game inside. I don't know what happened, but it occurred before it was placed in the shipping bag and is unacceptable. I had to stick with digital for this game.That said, this is a product review and not a seller review. Thus 5 stars.

Not that I've ever had cocaine but I could not put this game down. It's quite challenging but has a perfect learning curve and lots of cards/relics to keep things fresh each time. With only 4 characters and a limited amount of enemies (since the enemies are rationed per act), you'd think the game wasn't very deep, but it very much is. It also has a nice interface and style to it. The character/monster graphics are a little "flash animation" styled but it doesn't detract in any significant way. Highly recommended.

The text in handheld mode is extremely small. There is an option in settings to make it slightly bigger which helps but you may still need your reading glasses.This game is major addicting crack that will keep you up late at night as you will want to play just one more turn.Suoer easy to pick up and learn without too overwhelming rules. You can collect relics, potions, new cards, gain buffs , xp, unlockables, and 4 character types that all play differently and are fun to experiment with.The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the overall presentation could had a bit more love. Characters animations are extremely stagnant, the attack and spells are about as basic as they come, the music is so so with exception of the boss music, the graphics are just ok. But the gameplay is so fun and varied and addicting i still highly recommend it as a must buy for switch. One of switches hidden gems.

I am not a gamer. I can't keep my attention on much of anything for long, but this game - my word this game - it has me hooked. It's so easy to learn but incredibly challenging. I love games that combine skill and chance, and STS is that and more. I don't know why this isn't the most popular thing ever, but it might become just that, and I am happy to be an early player!!

The cards are interesting, with good synergy and multiple potential tactics to win depending on what cards come up to add to your deck. A single run of the game can drag on a bit as I prefer to finish a run in a single sitting rather than start a run and come back to it later. Might be my play style, but it usually takes a few hours to finish a single game which to me is a bit long.

This is such a fun game. Each time you play a "run" it's different as the order you go through enemies, treasure rooms, rest stops are randomized. You can unlock a total of four different playable characters that you also unlock treasures and items for each one as you continue to play. It has so much re-playability that you can't be bored!
