Father G and the Homeboys

This might be a fine choice if you are looking for a documentary on gang members growing into responsible adults. In Boyle's book, there are lessons of the heart on every other page. Based on the richness of the book, I was hungry for more of that wisdom which opened my eyes and my heart. From that point of view, this film is a disappointment. So, if you are expecting an experience to reinforce the lessons of the book, save your hard earned money.

Father G is A great American heroe way ahead of his time. Showing that better ideas, and caring about people produce better results, relevant with all the dis functional methods of dealing with poverty and violence in our country today.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! But I'm a huge fan of Father Greg & Homeboy Industries so this was just icing on the cake for me!

We fell in love with these people shortly after beginning to watch this. It's a different feel then the newer DVD, G-Dog, just as powerful. Good stuff!!!!
