This kit is incredible for the money, I used it to make a 4pin to 2pin adapter. The crimp connections came out beautiful no slop or chance of it falling apart. The connectors fit together absolutely nice and water proof tight. This is perfect for a hobbiest or someone who wants to make custom light bar connections or even just to used to make repairs. Now no longer need to get crimp connectors hoping you got a good connection. If you do mess up the kit includes the tools to allow you take the connectors apart and try again. The nice part these connectors are pretty easy to find since they are starting to become popular and almost all aftermarket LEDs are starting to use them as a standard.

Definitely worth the 5 star rating. Solid construction, works well, and a great price considering the cost of professional grade closed barrel crimpers.

Tool works great and makes a perfect crimp after you dial it in by doing a few test crimps beforehand. I left the slider in the default setting and only had to adjust the height to get the crimp in the right location.

The crimper feels very solid and produces perfect crimps every time. Connectors are easy to wire, look to be weatherproof, though not for underwater use. I'm using these on my sailboat, hopefully won't need that. One ding on the kit is the included pin removal tool, it cannot remove the green pin locks from the shell. It works ok to remove the pins themselves. There's a special tool that does all removal steps, wish it had been included here.

Bought all three sizes of these. The size 12 & 16 work flawlessly, however, the size 20 requires the pin to be tapped in and I usually have to use a pair of flush cutters to wiggle the pin out from the crimper. All three provide a solid crimp, but the size 20 will slow you down considerably and will quickly aggravate you if have a large number of crimps to make.

Wire crimping works great in every which way easier to buy on amazon and get up your door then to go to the store and find out they're out of stock or the one that you want.They don't have on the shelf. Comfort and grips.Well, the size is perfect.Not too big but a good amount size in your hand.

This is my first dive into Deutsch connectors, I decided to use them for a new wiring project I was starting. I found there were other "crimpers" out there, these fell into the not over the top price range for a entry tool. I don't make my living with my tools it is for my hobbies. The worked exactly as they should. Fit and feel is more than just an entry level tool. They fit my hand well and crimped as needed... No learning curve!

Had an issue pushing the terminals in. First use you got to tap it in to make clearance it none will slide in. After that it was all good.

Had a 400$ pair and the springs broke after 7 years. Didn’t see the point in spending that much again, these are very good quality at a very good price

Can’t go wrong with this crimper. Crimps deutz terminals like a dream and I have yet to have a terminal come loose from the crimp. Great price!
