Rhodia Treasure Box, Orange

I love writing on thick grid paper, so these Rhodia notebooks are perfect for me. I really love the variety of sizes here: the larger one is great for writing notes or making long lists; the long skinny one is great for lists; the small ones are perfect to throw in your bag; and the middle one ... it's great for whatever. I'm not a *huge* fan of pencils, so I wasn't blown away by those, but they do have very dark lead, which is nice. Love these notebooks.

The Rhodia "Treasure Box" is my first exposure to this French brand of notebooks. The company calls this "Rhodia Box No 09." The box itself looks like a big reporter-style notepad. Inside you'll find four reporter-style pads; two "No 11" that are 2.9 x 4.1 inches, one "No 08" that's 2.9 x 8.3 inches, and one "No 16" that's 5.8 x 8.3 inches. All have very bright orange card covers. Also included are two wonderful triangle-shaped pencils in matching orange with striking black trim. The high-quality paper is bright white with small grids printed in purple in both sides of each page. The pages are perforated. If you like quality notebooks--and orange--you should be very happy with these. I'd think this would be a very nice gift item as well. Made in France. Highly recommended.

This is such a cute set! As anyone who's used Rhodia products knows, they are extremely well made and the perfect on the go notepad. I've only ever bought the large and medium notepads before so I love having the three tiny ones as well for my desk and purse! The grid paper ones can be hard to find in stores so iwas please that all of these are grid paper. The box is cool and may be reused, and I also thought the triangle shape on the pencils was neat and comfortable for writing.

Just, wow. With Rhodia you can literally FEEL the quality! The smaller pads in this box of 4 assorted sizes are great for portability but still big enough for me to do my hand lettered pieces! The pencils are a bonus, I haven't used them long enough to leave an accurate review, but so far they seem good!! Oh! And also the scored cover makes this pad effortless to use and flip through (see pictures).

Rhodia is pretty quality with its stuff. Having a variety of sizes of notepads and the pencils is fun. The box is cute too because it looks like a large notepad. Alas, shipping damaged the box so it's not in pristine condition - they packaged it in a bag rather than a box, so of course it got knocked around. I still aim to keep the treasure box as a secret hiding place for things on a bookshelf.

Rhodia is a great paper for fountain pens.

Yup. I love it. I will buy another. Personally I love the small little A7 pads. These are the best for taking small notes if you need a good pocket-sized pad! There are two N° 11 / A7 pads - 2.9 x 4.1 in) There's also an N° 16 / A5 pad (5.8 x 8.3 in). And you get an N° 08 pad which is like 3 x 8.25 in. (It's like double the height of the N° 11 pads). All of them are tucked away in the orange box with a couple of pencils that people say are awesome but I've not even opened them up yet. I suppose I'll have to check the out eventually!
