Incredible quality!
I purchased different types of coffee compatible for Nespresso machine, and this were the ones real close to the original Nespresso line. The taste and aroma are really good! The machine has no issue using them and it feels like using a normal pod.Totally recommended for a more affordable option in comparison with original Nespresso pods.

Excellent espresso without the insane prices
So, the first question is, how to they compare to the more expensive Nespresso brand? Just about on par, with a slight edge to Nespresso. Nespresso also has some flavors that are just amazing, like Cuban, it it literally the best tasting espresso I have ever had, but it is their most expensive one too. Other flavors of similar intensity are very close, and considering the price difference, there is no reason to not by these L'OR capsules. I have a Kitchen Aid unit, L'OR works great in it, and not have had any that were bad or did not work properly, they have been flawless....What initially sold me on the L'OR was the fact, they are one of only 3 other third party that use aluminum, not cheap plastic. The other two are Starbucks and Peets, and as we all know, Nespresso brand are also aluminum. Considering the costs, taste and quality, you would be nuts to not try this brand. From time to time I will order some flavors from Nespresso that L'OR does not have, like the Cuban and their decaf ones I get for late night cravings. I have not seen any LO'R in decaf yet, however I am a loyal L'OR customer now and the only way that will change is if they stop making them. I also want to mention, in three orders so far, not a single capsule had a dent or has malfunctioned, this is a sign of their quality control, which is very good. If you have not yet tried L'OR, you are really missing out on a great buy, without sacrificing the quality.NOTE: Most of the bad reviews are from people that do not understand what version machine they have, these DO NOT work in Vertuoline, only the original line. You would think these people would have seen the pictures and noticed they look different? Maybe read the description? What amazes me more is they (the purchaser) makes the mistake and give the product a bad review....

Relatively low priced, sealed in aluminum, and the medium roast Satinato is AWESOME
I'll start by saying that the Satinato is some awesome tasting coffee. It's a medium roast that is smooth with just the right low amount of acidity. It also has a caramelized milk chocolate kind of taste (not flavored, just from the coffee itself). I make almost all of my Espressos into Americano's so when I'm talking about how good the coffee tastes I'm not talking about anything but the coffee.I did try the ristretto with Coffee-Mate Natural Bliss SWEET CREAM Natural Flavor (All Natural) ... AWESOME!!! You do have to keep that stuff refrigerated but it's like coffee flavored Ice Cream. You just brew the Ristretto into an Espresso (just over an eighth of a cup) and then add 1/4C to 1/4C + 1/8C of the above mentioned creamer. I would call that 3/8 of a cup but that looked odd like it might be confusing. The Or Absolu and the Columbia were both good too, just slightly lower on the scale. The Onyx was a true dark roast which was darker than I like but I still find myself drinking one of them here and there.I also like that they are sealed in aluminum capsules

No problems, tasted great
I bought these without much expectation - at 2/3 the price of Nespresso capsules, it seemed too good to be true. Ordered the 5 pack (Satinato, Colombia, Or Absolu, Ristretto, and Onyx). I'm not a Ristretto fan to begin with, so it didn't surprise me that this Ristretto was just okay. However, the Onyx was lovely - smooth and strong-flavored, though I'd argue that their 12 on a scale of 1-12 was too high. I'd rate it more at an 8 or 9. The Absolu was also very creamy and smooth. Despite its low intensity rating, I think the Satinato may have been my favorite; a perfect afternoon pick-me-up.I haven't found any major problems with the fit in my Nespresso Original Line machines (I have one at the office and one at home). A couple of times the capsule seemed a tiny bit smaller than Nespresso's, but it still worked fine. The flavor, IMHO, is similar to that of the Nespresso pods. I've yet to find a pod that comes really close to the taste of a real, freshly roasted espresso, but honestly, I don't expect that from a machine at this price, or a pod.One of the major pluses of these pods is that each has the intensity number and flavor name on the back. Since I keep my pods in a storage drawer, where they fit best upside down (silver side down) and where I can tell immediately which are decaf and which are not (Nespresso and several other makers have a little red dot on the bottom to indicate decaf), I can usually only go by color to figure out which one is which. Once lifted out, the type is printed on the silver "top". Admittedly, it's not that hard to memorize the colors, their names and strengths, but it's annoying. L'Or have solved that by putting the name and strength on the bottom of each pod, making choice simple. These aren't the best Nespresso pods out there, but they are pretty darned good. Four stars only because I found the strength ratings to be completely different from any other companys' ratings.
