Carhartt Men's Paxton Full-Zip Sweatshirt

Heavy duty hoodie that is better than anything else I have. I kept me warm during a 20 minute walk at 10pm in below freezing temps. Next day was below freezing and windy, and I didn't feel anything. Soft on the inside, so it's super comfortable despite being robust. It is quite big, so size down. I got a small and it fits like a large.

I returned the one I got..I normally like oversized hoodies, this was very comfortable and warm..quality carhartt as always! This was oversized in a way I've never experienced before.. when i put my hands in the pockets and bring them together to make the waistband snug around my body, I get about a 10" overlap, have never had a hoodie that the waistband was that big.. I recently bought a hoodie that was a 3x and it was almost too tight ..I wish there was an industry standard .. also wish they listed the waistband size, they just have chest measurements. I plan on getting this hoodie, but will go down a size or 2.. even the hood was waaay big, like "I'm going to catch every ounce of wind coming this way" big. EDIT: Got a 2x and its nice, still roomy enough, but waistband fits around my body so wind doesn't just blow up in easily.. the hood is normal size on this one ...everyone's body is different, these are just my personal experiences. All in all, great quality, very warm (it was windchill of -14F last night and I was comfortable during the 20min I was shoveling)

This is the best sweatshirt I have ever owned and its currently my favorite item of clothing. It fits perfectly. It's heavy without being cumbersome. It breathes wonderfully (a feature that isn't hyped up in the description but is definitely appreciated) and it is actually very water resistant (not waterproof, but then...it's a sweatshirt so not sure why would expect that anyway). It is loose without being bulky. Would easily fit under a jacket. It's tough and designed for people who work for a living. I sit at a desk and still love it. I'm not a huge fan of labels and the Carhartt label placement is aesthetically not great, but a few seconds with an exacto knife and I've got a sweatshirt that I plan on wearing for a good portion of the rest of my life. Yes its expensive, but you get quality with the price. The only other complaint I have is that the inner lining flakes off in little black pieces of lint, but a single washing solved this. It's not a flaw so much as an aspect of the design and manufacturing of the product. Wash it in cold water and let it hang dry. After that...no little fuzzballs over your shirts. Seriously, I LOVE THIS SWEATSHIRT.

Quality thick heavyweight zip up hoodie that keeps you warm. The color was true to the picture and is a beautiful green. It is great for working outdoors in the North East when you have a warmer winter or fall or early spring day where you don't need a really heavy jacket, but are too cold for a thin one. Carhartt has such quality clothing and workwear. It is very well made and is soft. It is true to size as well.

I’ve had this for about a year now. It is very thick and warm and I have no complaints about the actual zip up except two things. First off, the color looks dark green in person. And my only major complaint is that it has a distinct gross smell. Doesn’t matter how many times I’ve washed it, it hasn’t lost the original smell since I bought it. Other than that, it is very cute and comfortable other than the smell.

I intended to order another Carhartt heavy duty hooded sweatshirt jacket like the brown one I already have. Unfortunately those are on closeout on Amazon and none are in my size. I specifically wanted the tall size in XXL to allow for shrinkage--they always shrink a bit over time and I'm not always careful when washing and drying. This is labelled as a rain repellent fabric but that's just icing on the cake to me. It hasn't rained since I bought mine so I can't tell you if it's highly water repellent or not. What it is is a very nicely made zip up hooded fleece jacket. It's designed even better than the heavy duty model I already own. Being a Carhartt, it's also put together extremely well and the fabric appears to be high quality. I expected it to run on the large/long size and it does. Maybe a little bigger and longer than my other sweatshirt jacket. I like loose fitting clothing so it's not an issue for me plus there's that shrinkage thing again. One of the big pluses for this jacket is the zipper is all metal and well made, not the "self-repairing" plastic type found on some other brands of fleece jackets. My experience with plastic zippers has been hit and miss. They mostly last well but sometimes you get one that simply will not function properly after a few years of wear. That leaves you with a jacket that's unusable due to a worn out zipper. I've never had any problem with good quality metal zippers. I'm generally a pretty big fan of Carhartt clothing, especially their coats and jackets. I also like their tee shirts and leather belts. However, I'm not a fan of their baggy jeans and I'm not sold on their cotton work shirts due to size issues in the past. But I highly recommend their zip-up fleece hoodies like this one.

The hoodie is true to size, my husband absolutely loves it! The fabric feels like the one of a great quality. I'd definitely would buy the second one just to have it at home😅

I have a lot of hoodies but this is my new favorite. It's thicker and warmer than most hoodies, well made. The elastic parts are thicker than most so I'd expect that to last a lot longer. So far the most rain it's seen is a light sprinkle but the water didn't soak in like it does most hoodies. My coworker who recommended this hoodie said it's not waterproof but it will get you through a light rain or a little while in heavy rain. Thats good for me, i just need it to give me time to walk across a parking lot to my car. I'm a new fan of carhartt and so far everything I've gotten from the brand has been good quality Edit - I've worn it in heavier rain now and it did really good, again not waterproof but more resistant than i expected.

Great zip hoodie

Got a medium because the large in Carhartt products tends to be very big, even though I am 6’2 190lbs. Should have gotten the medium-tall however, overall a great sweater, it is heavy weight and will definitely keep you warm in colder weather. I use it as a layer while camping and it works great.

Really top quality hoodies, comfort 5*, warmth 5* and workmanship 5* ...just wish the delivery was a little quicker.
