very clear audio on a budget.
These little speakers pack some punch. They offer better bass response than I expected for the size. The clarity and volume is plenty for a desk setup. I have been running these for over a year both with and without a sub woofer, powered by a Douk Audio 200W tube amp. They sound great and have a very stout build quality.

Pair with Fosi Audio v3 for awesome PC speaker system!
I was looking around for a good quality audio solution for Mac Studio, and I was thinking about buying some PC speakers such as the Logitech Z407, or the Bose Companion 2.The thing I liked about the Z407 was that it had an a night knob controller you could position anywhere to control them. What I didn't like was the need for a sub, nor did I care for the fact the speakers would go into sleep mode, and it would take a moment for them to detect an audio signal, making so you missed audio pieces. What I liked about the Bose was really the fact they were a pretty compact design, but over all, Bose sound quality is pretty lack luster, and I didn't like the fact the controls were physically on the speaker, which I wanted to locate outside of easy reach.Thats where using a small class D amp, like the Fosi v3, provides the ability to have the audio controls where you want them, speakers where you want them, and the audio never goes to sleep on you. Then of course, you have the freedom of picking your speakers of choice. I picked these Klipsch B-100 speakers, mostly because they were the smallest set of bookshelf speakers by a name brand I recognized. I must admit, I'm SERIOUS impressed with the entire setup. The Fosi v3 is a straight up audiophile level amp, and these B-100 speakers have completely exceeded my expectations! I don't think I've ever heard speakers this small sound this good. I have two other multi-thousand dollar sound systems, and I can't say this competes with those, but it gets far closer to their quality than I would have imagined possible, especially at this size!

Just what I expected from Klipsch
My first pair of Klipsch speakers. Been using Polk speakers for years. I sold off most of my stereo gear when we downsized a couple of years ago. Picking back up lately wanted to try Klipsch. This is the smallest speaker they make and they fit my TV table perfectly. I wasn’t expecting booming bass from 4” drivers. But the bass is still good. The real benefit is the mid range and highs. Very clear sound. I value quality over quantity. Paired with a 50 watt per channel amp they are very close to perfect!

Outstanding Value - Especially in this price range
Are these ultra-top-end audiophile speakers? No, not by any means. Do they sound outstanding for everyday listening, for a little over 100 bucks? Absolutely.I have these connected to my home theater system with a stereo Ayima Amp. Voice on TV shows is crystal clear, and background music and sound effects are rich and detailed. For music, they sound good. Re: the common knowledge that Klipsch is "bright", these are not. They're not going to shake themselves off of the wall with bass, and the midrange is pronounced, but they are not by any means tinny and harsh. They're solidly and heavily built, so you don't get any weird vibrations of cabinet resonances like you see in other "cheap speakers"Regarding their weight - they're about 7lbs each - not super heavy, but not feather weight. If you're mounting them in the wall, I'd make sure they're in a stud, or mounted *properly* with snap toggles or the like. (If you have to ask how to do it, don't do it).Overall? Definitely recommend. I'm actually about to pick up a second set to use as rear surrounds. (I'm not a fan of center channels)

What else have I been missing in life?
Life isn’t the same. Well at least in terms of sound. This speaker paired with my Dayton audio mini amp has spoiled me. Everything else sounds like straight doggy 💩. I have a shaker audio system in my mustang that I loved. Now it sounds like an OK system. My wife’s 2020 explorer had a pretty nice stock system that now makes me question how far stock car audio systems have come. My beats headphones no longer impress. And my Sony studio monitor headphones sound like a whining baby with the treble turned up high. If you haven’t picked up what I’m trying to say, then let me spell it out for you, these speakers are insanely good. The sound is so pleasing to the ear that you can easily get lost in your music. They do lack a good boom in terms of base. But I just added an old and cheap 20 dollar koss sub to my setup that I literally found in a dump and man oh man. I don’t think I could have gotten a better sounding system from a dedicated pc sound system. And ya, I’m using these speakers as pc speakers for my pc I use for video editing. Altogether, my setup cost less then 220.

Great sound
I finally got tired or hauling my Boston tower speakers from home to home. When the cones blew, I had a decision to make - repair or downsize. I've always liked the Klipsch brand. They haven't disappointed. Great sound for a bookshelf speaker. I haven't turned up the volume to do a full test, yet. I need to get to know my new neighbors first.

Big Improvement over Bose
I bought two pairs of these to replace my front and back Bose bookshelf speakers (fronts were different model than rears before) in my 5.1 system. These were quite a bit smaller so I worried they would lack proper bass response, especially since I mostly use my 5.1 system for music, but my fears were unfounded. These speakers have great full-spectrum frequency response and have never started 'flapping out' or distorting, even at pretty extreme volume levels (far louder than I would ever normally listen to). I can't say I've noticed a whole lot of difference with films though they are definitely noticeably clearer than the bose speakers they replaced. I would say if your prime use of a 5.1, or even stereo system is films and television, these might be overkill, but for my purposes they are terrific given the price (black Friday discount they still aren't prohibitively expensive).
