Expensive but worth every penny for vasectomy recovery. WAY better than a bag of peas! Would be nice if they came in packs of 2 however. I was advised to use every 20 mins by the doc. But this wasnt enough time for it to refreeze after use. Still worked well enough but having 2 would be better. Can use in the future to ice injuries or use for your head when you have a headache. This was my husband’s FAVORITE ice pack while healing from a vasectomy. He used it for 2 weeks!Pros: It has 2 different sides, one is velvet to reduce the chill coming out of the freezer, and the other side is pretty chilly. Plus it comes with 2 smaller packs and a velvet pouch. AND…it shaped perfectly, and very moldable around certain…areas ;) it also re-freezes within about 20-30 minutes which is what they recommend cycling ice on and off.Cons: Not sure what you’d use it for after he’s healed unless he has a direct hit to the groin area lol!Summary: It’s expensive but it’s worth it! If your man is going to go through this procedure, it’s a nice little “gift” to show you really care about their comfort during recovery. I mean these procedures aren’t cheap to begin with, so what is this in the grand scheme of things? A thoughtful gesture is what…and the PERFECT item to support healing!

It worked well for my husband after his vasectomy. Only complaint it did not call me in 1 day like promise and took 4 days. So it actually came on the day of his procedure and I didn't get to freeze them all the way.

I purchased this item because I was going to have a minor surgery performed by a Urologist, but I ended up using it when having an issue with my kidney dialating. You can tell immediately that the construction is much better than the typical ice pack from the local drug store. I love how it is dual sided for application. The extremely generous gel pack is well sealed. Very comfortable to use.

I bought this hoping that it would work well after my vasectomy, but it did not. I bought two bags of frozen peas as a back up and ended up using them more. It wasn’t very comfortable to use and rigid for most of the time that it was being used although it did chill the boys, just not as good as the $2 bag of frozen peas. Also, one of the two small pods busted just from falling out of the freezer.

Tuff nuts ice pack is fantastic! Fits in the groin perfectly and delivers long lasting hot or cold where you need it. Recommend buying 2 so you can keep them in rotation to provide constant heat or cooling.

This product is well worth the money, easy to use, conveniently shaped and can be used anywhere else on the body after your junk is healed!!!

Looked good online but in practice, it’s clunky, really wide, rigid, and wasn’t that cold after being in the freezer for days.I bought 3 packs of frozen peas for $6 and rotated them every hour and they did a far far better job than this.
