Great Product And Great Customer Service
I've tried twice to submit a review and both times received an error and they were deleted. Hopefully, the third time, is a charm.I bought these to replace the sealed beams, on my hobby truck, a 2006 F250. I couldn't be happier the results. They are much better than the originals. I paired them with PIAA 50/55w lights and I can actually see the road.I had two difficulties changing them, one was my fault, the other was due to rusted screws holding together the light bezel and headlight cup that attach. The screws were so rusted that even soaking in homemade ATF/Acetone penetrating solution wouldn't loosen them. So fortunately Dorman makes aftermarket bezels and I had to hit the Ford dealer for the cups. No big deal just an added cost. The other problem was on my end. They come with nice rubber boots to attach to the rear of the light. In a rush to install them, as it was getting too dark to see, I ripped one. Totally my fault. This is where the company shone customer service wise. I emailed them late on a Sunday asking to buy a new rubber boot. Since it was my ineptitude that caused the problem I was happy to pay for one. They got back to me the next day and offered to send one for free! YAY! Awesome customer service! Two days coast to coast and I had the new boot along with a nice window sticker. They seem solidly built. There are some dark spots which I was able to mostly eliminate through bulb positioning and alignment. Still 100x better than the old ones.In all I couldn't be happier with the purchase, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, to anyone in the market for sealed beam conversions.

Wow!
All I can say is wow! These are amazing housings paired with cougar motor h4 leds, it's like driving in the daytime. I can now see everything on the road and on both sides of the road. I love the beam pattern, its low enough that it doesn't blind other drivers but still enough to light the road on dim and on bright is just like having a 50 inch light bar. These housings are very easy to install even though they dont come with instructions. Should have went this route years ago.

Used on a 96’ 2.4l tacoma
I like how even with high beam on, the low beam area stays lit. Way better lighting area than the original sealed beams. Good cutoff. The only con was that they didn’t sit completely flush inside the headlight housing for my 96’ 2.4l Tacoma but once screwed, in they stayed put. I used regular 55/65 wattage halogen bulbs from winpower I think, maybe? I like now that I can even upgrade to brighter bulbs. I also purchased from the local Auto parts store a ceramic h4 bulb connector that was orange in color. I spliced it in to handle the higher heat that a higher wattage bulb would produce.

Great, and useful!!!
These replace factory sealed beam lamps, as a housing to use replaceable bulbs. Straightforward swap, no mods needed on a 97 Tacoma. Brighter, wider light delivery over the sealed beams while retaining the glass housing. A wide range of bulbs are available for pairing these together. H4 style bulbs fit the factory harness without mods! Works great!

Good upgrade over sealed beam
Upgraded to these lights on my old ford truck. Made a good difference. There is a lot more light, or spill before the beam edge. Where as the sealed beam just through alot of light in one section. The build quality is decent. Not sure why some mentioned the lens is thin. Seems just fine to me. It does have a metal housing which is a huge plus. Dinged it one star because the mounting wire that holds the bulb could be a bit better design. But it does hold the bulb as neededTake some time to put the rubber boot on, and "clock" it so it matches the housing indentations. Hard to describe, but youll see what I mean once you mess with it. I used the stock 55 L/60H wattage bulb since I dont use the truck alot, If you want to up your game to brighter bulbs, splice in ceramic connectors on your vehicle for the bulbs. They will give off more heat and could melt the stock connector. If your upgrading an old school car/truck with these, youll need to make or buy a relay harness kit. Those older cars didnt have that set up, and all the current went through the headlight switch. Youll burn up your switch in short order, and your new lights will not be nearly as bright as they could be due to voltage drop through the switch. If your part store doesnt have H4 bulbs, use #9003. Its the same bulb.

Well worth the upgrade
Install these with the vision X replacement bulbs on 1988 Toyota truck. They are much brighter than the old sealed beam. I used them instead of LED because they are not hard on the eyes when driving at night even on high beam. The glass and aluminum housing is very strong.

I can finally see at night.
I can finally see at night now. I got this for my 96 tacoma because the stock headlights were so bad at night that I can barely see 15 ft ahead of me. Now I can see up to 35-40 ft. Not as bright as a LED lights but far better than the stock lights. Plus they look nice.

outstanding upgrade a drop in replacement
My 93 Nissan D21 was borderline unsafe with the stock sealed beams. After some reading I bought the VisionX housing. The VisionX housing bolted in perfectly no fit issues at all. Keep in mind this product is only a housing you must buy bulbs separately. After doing some research I choose Sylvania 9003 SilverStar Ultra Halogen Headlight Bulbs <$45.00. So for about $100 total and 15 minutes work I ended up very pleased with the results. Bright clear focused light enabling safe driving without blinding oncoming vehicles. II did this five months ago it looks and preforms just like new.

Vision X VX-57
Installed these in my 1990 Toyota Pickup. Fitment was perfect, and no strange wiring was needed. Simply plug and play. I folded down the two chrome frames, and the lights just slid into place. These took the truck from the status of two Bic Lighters guiding me down the road at night, to what I would compare as current technology. They have been in the truck for a year now, and no issues. Great product, and would highly recommend.
