Excellent, simple, yet effective heater
The media could not be loaded. This heater does exactly what it is supposed to do, heat your home or space. There are no frills or digital features, the thermostat takes a little time to figure out what you should put it on. It only took me a couple days to figure that out. The heater is very quiet too, I only hear a very faint click when it does come on, but you have to be listening for it. If you are looking for something simple, easy to use, and a good value, this is your heater.

It works and it's simple.
We took over my in-laws home about 20 years ago. For the past 40 years, they (and we) have been buying cheap electric heaters to keep the well house warm in the winter. They last 2-3 years before they burn out from running 24/7 for 4 months straight each year. The fans suck dust in and we're always worried about a fire. I bought this 2 years ago and it's still running strong. Because it's a simple radiant heater, there's no moving parts to fail. It runs well for months at a time, keeping the well house betwixt 60 and 70 degrees, even with a stiff north wind blowing. Well worth the money.

Ouch that's HOT!
I purchased this in October of 2024 and wanted to wait until it got COLD before I left a review. This heater has wonderful output and heats most of my rooms on the lowest setting. Obviously, in rooms that are open, example, my living room and dining room are open concept, so it has to be on high which makes perfect sense.I have two things that keep this from being a 5-star item for me. They are the handle and the on/off light. The way the handle is positioned you need to put you fingers in the opening and your thumb on top to pull/push it where you want it. This causes you to put your thumb on the hot metal part of the unit. Also, the plastic handle part gets very warm and it uncomformable when trying to move it. To solve this and to allow us to move it when we want, I just keep an Ove glove nearby. Just wish I didn't have too.As for the on/off light it is so bright that in my bedroom it's glaring at me while I try to sleep. Solution, I put a piece of electrical tape over it. See red circle in photo.

Warm and easy to use
Product is as expected. We have been very careful with the buttons as some reviewers had issues with breakage. I was surprised by how warm this gets, setting 2 is very warm. You don’t want this around young kids as it definitely could burn someone if you touch or try to move the heater when it’s on. It seems safer than traditional space heaters for use in bedroom because you can turn it off before bed and the heater will continue to stay warm for a few hours. Pretty happy with it, but shipping delays meant we missed out on using it for the worst of our cold snap when we really needed some temperature boost to counteract the -30 Fahrenheit overnight temps.

Better than baseboard heating for small spaces
I bought this for a client. She has her baseboard heater on in her bedroom at night when she sleeps. The baseboard heater is beneath the window, so some of that heat was leaking out of the window frame and the rest was staying in the window area trapped in by the curtain. As well, she had some furniture blocking the heat flow into the rest of the room. This portable radiator-style heater is better for her bedroom because she can roll it next to the bed (with safe space between) and have heat coming out closer to her, and then easily roll it to put it along the wall when not using it. It also keeps the temperature more consistent in the room than the baseboard heater. Also, most portable heaters are not safe to stay on when you are sleeping but this one is safe. The only negative is that it heats up an area very slowly, about a couple of hours, so don't use it to quickly heat a very cold room.

Is there a fire in my office or is that a space heater?
Goodness, this little guy puts off some heat! I have a much fancier Delonghi space heater in another section of my house, but after comparing it to this space heater, the household cat enjoys laying next to this one much more. It follows the traditional radiator heating, where it directs heat above and it engulfs the room, however, the 'heat sink' like the Delonghi is not on this one, so you can feel a decent amount of heat on either side of the radiator as well. I will say that if you plan on moving this one around a bit, it is a little more cumbersome as there is only one real "handle" on the unit to grasp; but for just wheeling around in one area/room, it's very easy.Because it does not have a heat shield/heatsink like the Delonghi, it cools down significantly quicker when you power it off. The temperature control is kind of lame in my opinion, since you really do not know what temperature the device is cooking the area to. 'Low' 'Medium' 'High' equate to 65, 70, 75...? Not sure. But I tend to just leave it on the "3" setting which is the "High" temperature and it does the job in my office. I shut the door and it can cook the room to 75-80F in the coldest of months in North California.Definitely a good budget oriented heater if you do not want to pay almost double for the Delonghi.
