Best cookie ever!!
Delicious cookie! Do not order when the weather is warm since the chocolate melts!

Melted, stucky mess!
Cookies must have been stored in high heat. The chocolate was melted all over the packaging and then dried, so the cookies were stuck together. No return allowed.

I'm in recovery because of my addiction to these dark chocolate digestives
Be careful. These are highly addictive and must be made with highly concentrated crack cocaine.

tasty british treat
I moved from England 15 years ago, and often get cravings for my old favorite British treats, so I ordered those. The product was as delicious as I remember, but the packaging on Amazon's end was awful. I will not give the product a poor review for this reason, as it is not the product's fault Amazon shoved the biscuits in a large box with several heavy items. My chocolate digestives were mostly crushed, and getting a refund from Amazon for a grocery item is near impossible. I gave up after a few attempts and decided in future, I'll order my British chocolate biscuits elsewhere.

Love these but be aware ...
Bought some of these on a recent UK cruise and loved them. Ordered online once we returned to US. Unfortunately USPS delivery vans are not air conditioned and these arrived with the chocolate melted. Once they cooled the chocolate hardened and rivaled the best industrial adhesive for sticking them whole pack together. Had to break them apart. Not the fault of the manufacturer or the shipper, but beware.

Fantastic... BUT!
I have nothing but good things to say about these biscuits (cookies). My only complaint is how they're shipped, and I don't think I'm alone in this frustration.First the good things. Our family loves McVities products. Their Hobnobs are fantastic but the Digestives are our go to after dinner, or just a snack, treat. The biscuit/cookie is similar to a graham cracker flavor and consistency with a dark chocolate coating on one side. I don't know how to describe the difference in the chocolate flavor compared to other American made chocolate but my wife just says the British have refined the art of cookie making and their flavors are just better. Take that as you may. Regardless, they are just a really good treat no matter how you slice it.Now the bad. The cookies are necessarily what I would call brittle but they're also not exactly made of teflon. So when they're shipped they should have a little protection to make sure they all arrive in one piece. Amazon ships them as a package of three, which each individual package is only encased in a plastic wrapper and vacuum sealed together then placed into a bubble wrap envelope. This is not enough to ensure your biscuit/cookies are protected from the rough and tumble of shipping from wherever they originate to wherever you are. What you end up getting when they arrive at your front door is a loose collection of mostly whole biscuit/cookies coated in the powder of those less fortunate biscuit/cookies that didn't survive the trip. DISAPPOINTING TO SAY THE LEAST.Our local grocery store carries some of the McVities products but not the Dark Chocolate Digestives so ordering them from Amaon, which comes to roughly $4 per package (not the 3 pack) is about a $1 less than what our store charges for the Milk Chocolate. If I knew these items would arrive well packaged and come intact every time I would easily order these on a regular basis. But as it is, and how they slap-dash the delivery, I'm very apprehensive about ordering them again this way. Which is really, really sad.

Don’t buy during hot weather.
There is nothing wrong with the biscuits, but do not have any shipped during the summer. This is my third order, which I got in July, not thinking about the heat. The other two orders were just fine. Also, they were stuffed into my mailbox which was way too tight for the bag. They should have been in a box like the last two times.I am British and these have always been my favorite biscuits, so I was thrilled to find them on Amazon. I eat them crushed because it was the taste I was after not the way they looked.

Cookies were awful - stale and previously melted
Horrible!!! The cookies were stale! “Sell BY” date was less than a month away from the purchased date, AND they had previously melted together, so each of the three packages were one big block of cookies chunked together. Couldn’t even break apart by hand, had to use a knife. Even at that, they tasted terrible and were all dried out. NOT the McVites usual quality. Very disappointed.
