Great for the weekend warrior
This is a must for the weekend warrior! We used it for our church AWANA pine derby cars and cuts amazing. This brand is great for light use or maintained tools, dont buy for heavy use get a true set, but for light use save your money and buy this! Great tool!!!

I was disappointed.
The bandsaw broke with less than 3 months of use. Have gone in circles trying to get help for a replacement or refund. Ryobi makes it extremely difficult to get help. Phone calls put you on hold for over 30 minutes. We finally got through, after 3 tries but were given incorrect information for a certified repair location. They did not service this product. The dealer who sold this through amazon said their hands were tied. Even purchasing a warranty was no help, because the item was supposed to have a one year guarantee. Be careful when making purchases on Amazon from other sellers.

Good for light duty and cheap
I am a woodturner and require a band saw only for light, basic cuts. This is good enough for that. If you're looking for a workshop bandsaw to take on anything greater that simple cuts, this is not for you. If you need a job site bandsaw, this is very portable and light.

Not dead yet.
I gave away a better saw and decided that I should have done that and I purchased all new shop items again. Don't let a slow point in life change what you love to do. I love working with wood but getting old, and after I gave everything away, I realized that was stupid, I'm not dead yet and who cares what you leave behind after your death. Let the living deal with it. I will leave someone some nice tool to someone in the future.

Bandsaw
Works good but it's better with the 1/2'' blades. Does everything I hoped it would do.

Works reasonable well.
It does a reasonably good job for something so inexpensive. I have cut wood, aluminum (no problem at all!) and brass. Brass seems like it is getting a bit too hard to cut, and I was only cutting a 0.032" thick strip. With the online information that I saw, brass is about 50% harder than aluminum, so I thought I would give it a shot. I would not want to try cutting brass very often. It seems like it has a harder timing maintaining a straight line in the metal I was cutting. It seemed to often be angled a bit. However, I paid a really good price for it (~$90 with shipping on clearance) and I feel I got a lot of band for my buck compared to a "real" and saw costing several thousand dollars.
