Very happy with bulb. Haven't had it long enough to rate longevity, but it has been working for 3 months in an outdoor light.

I was switching the lights from an old fixture; the new LED lights were bigger in saze than the old ones so the new lights didn’t fit

Almost as bright as 50W halogen. LEDs all round the casing. Well packaged.

I bought them to replace halogens in three older close-up work/reading lamps. I was careful to check the fixtures would accommodate the height but didn't think there would be an issue with the diameter -- or where the led chips are actually located on the body. Turns out, both did matter. They would not fit through the hole in the reflectors, but even if I were to enlarge the reflector opening, not all of the leds would be inside the reflector. Nice units, but take care to check all the measurements where you plan to use them.

low energy usage and last for ever....

I purchased these bulbs to replace an old dim incandescent light in an over-the-stove range hood in my RV. My goals were simple: (1) Get brighter cooking area on stove (2) Keep good color balance for indoors. I have to say these bulbs performed perfectly. I installed them in my range hood and the difference compared to the old bulb was like night and day. These are brighter and have a more pleasing color. I really like the 3000K color balance. I had earlier tried a 2700K, but it was too yellow, and I don't like the cool white (5000-6000K) because it's too harsh, almost blue. These bulbs (3000K) strike a perfect balance. One interesting feature these bulbs have is that they have internal electronics (bridge rectifier, I believe) to get the DC polarity correct for the LEDs, so there is no + or - terminal, you can plug them in either direction and they work fine. One other thing to note is that these bulbs are not dimmable. That was not an issue for me. I'm using them over a stove, and I want them either ON or OFF. I'm not trying to strike a specific mood for cooking by dimming the lights. So my summary: These LED bulbs met or exceeded all my expectations, I'm happy with them and would buy them again.

So far so good. It’s been a month. The 2 in-service perform well. About 10 hours per day. Briefly tested all 6. No DOA’s. Good purchase unless something changes.

I bought these to improve the brightness while reduce the power consumption of my low voltage landscape lamps, this will allow me to add more lamps using the same power supply. When replace the original halogen light bulbs with these new LEDs, some of my lamps have enough space (from the socket to the protective lens) to accept the LEDs, some don't. The 5 Watts LED produces more light output than the 20 Watts Halogen bulb it replaced while consumes 1/4 of the power hence it allows me to add 3 more lamps.

The larger size of these bulbs isn't an issue with my kitchen pendant lights. They give a nice warmer glow consistent with the 3000K rating. They are as bright as the previous bulbs I had and better than what I could find at the big box stores. I only rate the brightness 3 though, I would have put it lower but it does meet my needs so don't want to be overly severe. My existing LEDs were 2 W and 195 or 200 lumens (two different bulbs). These say they are 5 W and 450 lumens so I was expecting much more light. They clearly are not that spec. so if you need a good 200 lumen 2W equivalent by all means get them. If you are expecting bright LED light you will be disappointed.

Can’t yet review longevity but fantastic color temperature and brightness. Bought six as replacements for 20 watt halogens. Should have done this years ago.

These G4 leds (Right) are larger than the usual (left Image) as shown in the picture so make sure the location or device you are installing them into will accommodate it. I installed mine in landscape lighting so there was plenty of room for installation. These leds are very bright. The previous G4 leds lasted years so we will see how long these last.

I purchased a new light fixture that has hanging round glass crystals for my dining room. Halogen lights made it appear yellowish. They were bright but it gave my fixture almost an antique look. I replaced the halogen lights with these LED's which are super bright white. They have made my light look sparkly and new! They are round and emit light 360 degrees which is also a huge plus. These are so great! I have no idea how long they will last as I just put them in but I will comment again in a few months. Would definitely recommend!

J'avais mesuré mes receptacles selon les données inscrites, mais ca ne fittait pas. J'ai du les modifier en retirant le plastique protecteur transparent et en coupant les pattes. Éclairs très bien par contre.
