Could use more fluff, otherwise pretty good
I’ve had this for about 4-5 years and just getting to review now. Pretty good for the price (paid $160 during covid). When pillows go bad I just rip the memory foam to shreds and stick it inside the inner lining (the outer lining is machine washable, comes in handy when kids decide to eat/drink on it).

Pretty Good!
Takes 24 hours at least to fully expand. It comes with the cover off, so you have to put it on. Last one I got had the cover on.It has enough filler but could use a lil more if you want it to be fuller! I’d wait for a sale if you pick this “bean bag”

Huge disappointment & false advertisement! - NOT memory foam and uncomfortable - 7 issues!
Although I did a lot of reading through the many product reviews before purchasing this product, I was lured by the mainly positive ratings and the statements about how happy some users are with this chair. My gut tried to steer me away from purchasing this but unfortunately I took the chance despite some of the negative reviews pointing-out some concerning and recurring issues. Many of those negative reviews turned out to accurately describe aspects of the product I received, but I also found one MAJOR ISSUE (#1) that I did not see in any other review and that I consider to be the worst. This was a birthday present for my teenager and I had the greatest hopes that it would be a hit. I even told her that she will spend most of her free time on/in this chair...Now I am left with having to find a replacement after this present was a complete bust. For what it's worth, here are my issues:#1 - NOT MEMORY FOAM - It seems to be some cheap foam that was ripped into chunks. This is something I did not read in any other reviews and it's the biggest issue for me because I consider it to be false advertising. Memory foam, especially if high-quality, is quite a bit more expensive, heavier, but also more comfortable, so this seems to be an attempt by the manufacturer to cut cost. The particular filling I received springs back immediately after compression (zero memory effect) and is much lighter than I expected after reading review from others. I have no problem lifting this bag up and carrying it around with one hand.No problem if the product description matches the product, but calling this memory foam is FALSE ADVERTISING!#2 - CHUNKS and LUMPS - The foam pieces are too big, some of them around 6 inches. Even after separating the chunks over several days, the chair remains extremely lumpy. Sections within pieces don't have the same consistency either and are partially hard, almost like some sort of crust. All of this in combination makes the chair very lumpy and uncomfortable.#3 - CUSTOMER EFFORT - I could accept the manufacturer expecting the customer to separate foam pieces from each other to expedite expansion, but expecting the customer to rip and tear the individual foam pieces by hand is frankly ridiculous. That should be part of the manufacturing process of the filling. Worst, I was unable to actually get to the filling itself due to a zipper issue (see issue #5) but I probably would have decided against digging inside the bag anyway as that would have just turned into a huge mess.Lastly, ripping these pieces by hand is HARD. I tried for about an hour overall by bunching-up the protective polyester liner but this foam is tough and doing this for the entire chair would be a waste of my time because even 2 inch pieces still felt like little lumps. Think of it as 2 inch cotton balls, only harder. This chair would never be comfortable, even after hours of ripping pieces.#4 - INSUFFICIENT FILLING - Like so many other buyers indicated, there isn't enough filling for the chair to be usable, or at least comfortable. I am 190 pounds and as soon as I drop down, I hit the floor. Combine that with the lumps you feel everywhere, it's just a very bad product compared to what is advertised but also compared to what other happy reviewers seem to have received.Probably needless to say that I also don't appreciate that the manufacturer expects you to purchase more filling separately at an additional cost just to get a product that is actually usable (or looks anywhere near the advertised pictures). This is cost-cutting at the expense of the customers to either increase profits or look more competitive.#5 - ZIPPER ISSUES - The zipper turns out to actually be a double-zipper, which I consider to be a positive. Not sure if I missed that in other reviews or if the manufacturer learned from prior zipper issues and doubled them up to avoid loss of stuffing. However, the inside zipper is broken and does not move. If I had decided to keep this product, I would have cut the inside zipper open to simplify ripping the filling and be able to add more. But based on the other issues I have with this chair, it's not worth the effort.#6 - QUALITY CONTROL - I can't say whether I was particularly unlucky to receive a very low quality product, or whether my expectations in this chair were higher than that of other reviewers. What is very clear is that quality control is very spotty at best, with me having received a product that combined most of the issues that some others experienced as well.#7 - DIFFICULT RETURN - One thing is for sure, unlike some other reviewers that decided not to send this product back because there is no way to fit it back into its original packaging, I will go out of my way to manufacture a box that will work as I have no tolerance for false advertising. Hopefully this will ultimately help others receive a better product that can meet expectations. This is likely the worst review I have ever written on Amazon. I don't do this lightly but hope that others can benefit from my experience and hopefully avoid it for themselves. In hindsight, I should not have taken the risk considering how difficult it will be to return this bag.I welcome any feedback, including comments from the manufacturer!

Fine for a kid, not great for adults
I ended up purchasing this for my son so he can have somewhere comfortable to sit while playing on the Xbox. I went with the larger option thinking that we could both use it. It arrived in a heavy box and was pretty interesting to see what it would be like. Like many reviewers suggest, I tried to break apart the foam so it would expand quicker. However on my chair, the dual zippers only closed and refused to open. So there was no way for me to open it up (which means I can't add more memory foam). HUGE detractor for me, and quite honestly it's the first time I've ever encountered a one way zipper. So I went to task and trying to break apart the foam through the inner cover. Talk about a pain! I eventually discovered that if you open your hands with your fingers in a claw shape, you can dig your fingers in and shake them to break up the foam. It'll give your forearms a good workout. After a good hour or two, I had most of the foam broken up and the chair started to fill up.FILL:Like the other reviews, I found that the chair looks nowhere as plump as the marketing photos they have here. After all my effort and a good three days of letting the foam expand, the cover is only about 2/3 full at best, and is very saggy. It definitely needs another batch of memory foam. But given I can't open the zippers, this is not an option for us. So we just get a saggy chair. BOOOOOOOO...SMELL:There was a slight smell to it when we first unpackaged it. But it's going away and barely noticeable after a few days of airing out.WEIGHT/SIZE:This thing is awkward as all hell. Trying to move it takes some effort and it has a pretty big footprint (think of those melted cat memes). So if you don't have a lot of floor space, you'll likely want to find an alternative seating solution. Not recommended for the average apartment or small house.COMFORT/SUPPORT:While this is fine for my 75 pound 10 year old, this chair leaves a lot to be desired for this 210 pound 47 year old. The foam compresses a lot under weight. And while I didn't sink completely to the floor, I wasn't far off. No matter how I tried, I couldn't sit close to upright in this. Because of that, I had to strain my neck and head forward just to see the TV. Otherwise I was looking up at the ceiling. Getting up from the chair requires you to roll out of it and stand up once your feet and knees are on terra firma. So for those of us with bad backs, this isn't a great option at all. I'm wondering if more fill would make things better. But again, due to a non-functioning zipper, this isn't an option.OVERALL THOUGHTSWhile a nice concept, the execution isn't great. And for the price, it's sadly not worth it, especially considering you definitely need to buy additional fill. This is more in the realm of a $40-$50 chair and even then. For the price you pay, one expects a lot more than what is given. I wish I could return this, but I wouldn't even know where to begin trying to get this thing repackaged and shipped.

Great item for the whole family!
My family basically lived on this thing for years. We had snacks on it while watching movies, sat in it to read and eventually the dog took it over as his bed. We left it with the house when we moved, but I hope we will get another one soon! Like any bean bag chair it will start to sag and deflate but it’s really easy to refill and fluff back up.
