Skagen Melbye - SKW6506 Black One Size

Love all of the Skagen watches. I have had 3 but this is my favorite..Easy to read date and Day..Beautiful analog display..Very accurate time keeper.

I saw the Titanium version of this watch in Macy's and found it very attractive, but a bit pricey. I noticed this was on line at a much lower price and figured I didn't need the Titanium. Well, the lower price is due to the fact that the watch band is made of silicone and is a major hassle to use. It is hard to buckle because the band flip-flops around when trying to thread it into the buckle and the high coefficient of friction and elasticity of the material makes it very hard to thread the pin of the buckle into the correct hole. The pin keeps hanging up on the underside of the band while trying to fit it into the hole. Finally, the adhesive quality of the silicone material catches on clothing pulling the watch out of position when sliding the arm into a shirt or jacket sleeve and then it catches on the skin making it hard to slide back into position--a major annoyance for me. And the silicone is such that the attachment to the watch is nonstandard so it cannot be replaced with a normal band. My advice: check one out in person before buying.

A really worth for money. I purchased it for my father thinking it a to be a simple watch but when I received it I was surprised to see the elegance and beauty of this watch, of course, along with the sturdiness it has. My father is wearing this even at home and very happy.I wish I could purchase the same again but now the price has gone up more than a 1000 rupees. I am waiting to buy it again as and when it is offered at the same price at which I purchased this earlier!Thank you very much Amazon, honesty I love you for providing such premium items at affordable prices to us!

Marvellous watch by Skagen. It's have silicon strep which is a big side of this watch.
