Good quality, prints well
I’ve been able to print it with my Canon Pro 4000 , by cutting the roll into sheets. Setting was Japanese paper.

Love this stuff for gelli printimg
Perfect for gelli printing. Roll is much more economical than buying the sheets for my purposes.

Been having a good time making fish prints with this
I ordered this so I could make fish prints while I'm at sea. it comes in what's kind of a wax paper wrap, which is really useful if I need to set the roll down on something that may have dirt or grime on it. it holds up really well when being pressed onto rough-surfaced fish but some that have sturdier spines may poke right through the paper. As you might expect from a thin paper, it becomes incredibly delicate if the fish is wet (you are advised to blot dry any fish or critter you want to print) and can tear easily or partially adhere to the organism's surface. The considerable length of paper provided comes in handy when you are attempting to make a large amount of prints of different animals. All in all, I have really enjoyed using this product for printing.

Good Paper
This is really nice rice paper. Unfortunately it cannot be used for what I purchased it for. It’s not strong enough to use for gel prints, in my experience. I’m sure it would be great for a lot of things, but it is not great especially for a final pull off of a gel plate. It’s just too weak to withstand all of the wet paint. But - I can carefully paint layers on it, and let them dry in between, and it holds up just fine.. It’s also very soft.

Great Quality
Make good Hishigami, for Tsukamaki. Bone folder, a ruler, and some elmers craft glue if you don't have Kusune. Can also dye them, to match your samegawa if you want. The paper stands up to all that. Excellent quality paper.

Worked well for Gyotaku, for small fish.
I used this to practice gyotaku, it’s only big enough for small fish but it works well. We framed one of them and still have it up.

Excellent value
It's perfect as a backing when making bookcloth. It's great value for the money and is the width makes it manageable when soaked with paste. I have bought four rolls so far, and will buy again when I need to.

Good starter paper for newbie gyotaku
I have tried using this rice paper for gyotaku fish printing with moderate success. Could be the fact that I’m not good at it, ink selection, or doing something wrong, etc… but I find this paper gets sticky and will adhere to wet spots of the impressions. Happy with purchase, but will branch out and try a few varieties in the future. This was a good roll to purchase and try a new art/hobby.
