I changed the mechanisms on 2 clocks. It was a breeze !

Good product. I bought this to replace a ticking movement of an existing clock. The instructions provided may not work well. The trick is to install the hour hand first, then turn the knob so the hand points to a number in the middle, then install the minute hand and point it 12 o'clock position. Make sure the hands have sufficient friction to hold onto the spinners.

The hands are lovely; perfect for what I had in mind. So far, the clock mechanism seems to be accurate; too soon to tell. The instructions are too small, are difficult to follow, and could use editing/clarification (ALL parts should be clearly labeled in them & the pictures should be larger—especially the illustration of the order in which the parts are placed—that would be so helpful!) I was shocked to discover that carbon batteries were required and not happy that I had to order them online. That should be noted in the main product description, so people have a heads and and can order them at the same time.

The instructions were easy to follow. Have an old clock which has a beautiful picture below the clock. Died. New clock movement has it hanging back on my wall. Would have preferred the black hands but they were too long. But the brass ones are ok.

This is a very good clock to repair a defective one I had here. Only misfortune is the shaft length! I didn't look closely and it was a little too long and diameter hole of the needles were too small compared with my original needles. I couldn't use my original needle set so I had to cut kit needles to have this clock fit in my old clock. My issue, not a problem with item or seller. So it still deserves 5 stars.

Fixed my mom’s clock. Easy to install. She is very happy!!
