In our state it is the Department of Agriculture. **Q: Will the display show grams? I need to weigh items between 15g and ~3500g.** A: Lola, The Torrey LEQ 5/10 reads in kg's... However, it reads in .001 kg increments up to 5kg(or 5000 grams). The increment size of .001 kg is equal to 1 gram, so when the scale is in kg's everything behind the decimal place is in grams. Per your example 15g would read .015 on the display and 3500 grams would read 3.500 on the display.
