Works great, but you will need a few directions to use these. See below.
I wanted to use up some coffee I had around and had been using k-cups. Ordered this after a failed attempt at buying a worthless single cup coffee maker whose manufacturer's name will remain nameless. These paper cup liners with a standard Keurig type machine are fine. This is what I learned:-- this product needs better directions to come with it.-- many of the negative comments about this product I suspect came from failing to figure out how to use it correctly. Complaints include the coffee is too weak, that the water backs up out of it, that the coffee isnt hot enough, and that getting the grounds out of the cup is a problem. The product actually works fine if you take the time to play with it a bit.-- put a 1 tbsp scoop of coffee in the cup, then tap it on the table a few times to settle the coffee. Then put in a half or full scoop to follow and repeat. If you tamp the coffee with a tool or pack it too much, the water wont flow through the grounds and will push out or spill; if you don't tap and settle the coffee it will be too weak because you won't use enough and the water will flow through too fast. I find 1 1/2 tablespoons of Duncan Donuts ground coffee is fine for my tastes, and I like it a little stronger.-- just tap the cup on the table to settle the coffee. You need to learn to figure out how much tapping to settle the cup and how much coffee to use to get the brew you want, which only takes two or three times. After some gentle final tapping you'll see the coffee is down about 1/4-1/2 cm from the edge.-- adding a paper lid to the filter cup is a huge improvement in keeping out the coffee grounds out of your coffee, which is a problem with cup filters without a lid or with coffee makers that just use metal sieve filters. Coffee grounds that pass through the sieve will end up in the coffee, so a better filter and seal prevents that. I hardly even get one or two coffee grounds in the coffee now. The paper lid on the cup can dislodge if you aren't careful and let coffee grounds out to the metal filter. You may want to wet your finger and dampen the lid and seal it down before you close the cap so it seats better.-- once the coffee is done, it is packed in pretty firmly. If you tap out some of the grounds in the trash can, it is much easier to remove the used paper cup.-- cleanup is just rinsing out the cup, not disassembling a coffee maker with multiple parts, emptying the remaining water reservoir, washing all the parts and reassembling the thing. Avoid them. "The juice isnt worth the squeeze." This system is much easier, faster and quick to clean up.

Problem Solved
Rec'd these items today and could not wait to try them out. I do not buy the K-cups for my Kuerig coffee maker due to cost, unwanted chemicals and the impact to our environment. However, I have not been satisfied with the taste of my morning cup of coffee. When my refillable cups wore out and it was time to replace them, I also thought I might try the filters to see if that would make a difference. Of course, Amazon had exactly what I needed and at a great price! I received two black refillable K-cups plus 300 unbleached filters. First, the cups worked great in my machine and paper filters were very easy to install. Second, the paper filter w/coffee grounds was so easy to remove and throw away. Third, the part of the whole process I liked best, was the now the amazing taste of my coffee! Wow, the filters really made a huge difference! No more gunk floating around in my coffee ruining the flavor. This product exceeded my expectations and is certainly recommended!

These filters and baskets have already saved me $
I drink a considerable amount of coffee in the morning to get me started, so having access to coffee at work is paramount for someone like me. At my workplace there are only 2 options: 1. go to the coffee shop 2. use the communal Keurig style coffee maker. At the local shop coffee costs a minimum of 2.00 per cup, and that's just for 10oz. The only approved communal coffee maker is a Keurig style, and buying those little pods can get quite expensive for someone like me who drinks a lot of coffee in the morning. Therefore, what can I do? I started researching and came across these filters/basket set. I bought them solely on reviews alone and I'm happy to say, they work GREAT! I can put whatever coffee I want into the little things, put them in the communal Keurig style maker, and brew to my hearts content :) Cleanup is a breeze, which is also important cause I'm not near a sink or anything, so to be able to simply dump the used filter out and into the trash is perfect, and plus it's just coffee and paper so I'm not throwing away plastic pods every time. It's great and given that I've had them for only a week, already they've paid for themselves in my case! Can't be happy enough and will certainly be buying them again in the future.

Loving coffee again!
Hated using the reusable kcup because it was so hard to clean. Hated using the manufactured kcups because of the plastic waste. These filters have changed all that! Slip the filter in the pod, add the coffee of your choice, close the filter lid, close the pod lid and you're good to go. When finished, the paper filter easily pulls out and into the compost it goes with zero mess. Have drastically reduced my coffee budget and I get to drink fresh ground again.

I liked the square boxes they came in better
I don't like dealing with grounds from screen door pods, so I insert a filter every time, and I then break a spot open in the center for water flow. Works good. I use an old school Brevelle KCup machine, love it. Make my own KCups, forget 12-15 bucks for 12 or whatever they are, I buy my coffee here, and my filters. Italian espresso coffee.

Ease of use
We have used this product before. It is easier and more versatile than competing products. The top seals nicely, retaining the coffee grounds within the container. It is easily removed and does not tear or break easily, making disposal of the filter and coffee grounds quick and without making a mess.

Works like a K-Cup
This combination is perfect. It works as good as purchased K-cups. The top of the paper filter eliminates any mess. I will definitely purchase again.

No more grounds in our coffee
We love these and use them all the time. We have the mesh, reusable pod but we always have silt or grounds These stop that. the flap on top stops the grounds We've been using them for a year now and will keep doing so

A great cup of coffee
We recently purchased a keurig machine and I really wanted to be more environmentally friendly and have better coffee than a what keurig cups usually make. These reusable filters with the paper filter are amazing! No mess and we get to compost each one. On top of that, when I make a coffee with this and a k-cup using the same settings, this one comes out more flavourful! I hit the strong button and do an 8oz cup for reference cause I’m not about that watered down coffee taste.Do to quarantine, we are drinking lots more coffee than a regular basis from being home and these reusable filters have held up great.

Great filters for my K-cup pods
Great value and loved the fact that they were unbleached and therefore better for the environment.
