Having moved back from out of town, I found myself perilously short on cleaning supplies, so one of the first items on my agenda was to pick up the normal stuff - Windex, Comet, some all-purpose cleaner, cleaning sponges, etc. - from the supermarket and get to work. Cleaning went swimmingly, if slowly, until I got down to cleaning the floors in the bathroom and the kitchen. I busted out the store-bought, fancy Swiffer mop, the kind that came with the Mr. Clean attachments and the bottle of cleaning fluid that squirts out the top, and started in on floors that I can only imagine haven't been cleaned since W was president. It soon became apparent that I was going to need something a little more substantial. Given the confines of my storage spaces, that last thing I wanted was some bulky bucket-and-mop combination that I wouldn't be able to place anywhere convenient when I was finished, but I needed something that was going to be able to clean like those food-service yellow-bucket mops. Enter the Mopnado. This thing is fantastic! The whole ensemble breaks down into a tiny cube that can fit just about anywhere or on top of anything when not being used. Despite its diminutive size, however, it behaves like a heavy-duty mop. The spin-dry section acts just like the squeeze thing on the yellow buckets (but so much cooler), the head is quality, the pole is adjustable for most normal-sized people. The bucket is small enough to make clean up easy (you don't have to lug it outside or strain to get it up to the sink) and, as I mentioned previously, the storage is absolutely perfect for those of us city-lovers that can't dedicate a whole closet to storing our cleaning supplies. The workmanship is good enough that it should last more than long enough to get my money's worth. The shipping was also on time with no problems. Seriously, I never thought I'd get excited about a mop, but life is full of surprises. Skip the Swiffer, buy this thing. Review: This mop is a game changer... - Without question, this is an effective mop for three reasons: it cleans floors thoroughly without leaving a single streak (I use hot water and vinegar to wash both hardwood and tile), I did not experience any of the issues that some of the other reviewers experienced (clumsy to handle when full of water, an unruly mop head, etc.), and I was able to wash the floors rapidly. They are shiny, clean and bright, and that's ultimately all that matters. That and the fact that they are easier to mop with this unit than with any other method I have ever before employed (hands and knees, traditional sponge mop, rag and hard bristle broom, etc. etc. etc.). I have considered using swiffers, but the cost benefit analysis makes them absolutely out of the question. In a single year's time, I would end up spending hundreds of dollars in supplies, not to mention the pollution and injury to our limited natural resources. (If you mop floors once a week, at $39.99, this unit will cost you only 76 cents per week. If the solid construction affords you multiple years of use and you take care of your microfiber mop heads, the total amount will end up being far less). If you decide on purchasing this mop, you will like it! I live in a 1000 square foot townhouse. If you happen to have more square footage (and storage space) than I do, I recommend getting the larger Mopnado, as it accommodates nearly three gallons of water, where this version only has the capacity to hold 1.75 gallons.

This mop is a game changer...

Pretty Good
Only used once and both mop and bucket seem sturdy and got the floors very clean. It was a little hard to assemble even after watching the you tube video as a couple of pieces just did not seem to fit together correctly, but after a little wrestling with it, everything got put together nicely and now it's done and I never have to do that part of it again. Bucket is a little hard to move around as it is off-balance with the water all in one side and the handle being centered on the side with the water but not with the bucket as a whole. Had to pick it up with two hands to move it around, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I still really like the system and the agitators/spinners worked really easily and as advertised. Overall I'm really happy with this because it seems like it will last a long time and I'm happy with the way the spinner works to get the mop exactly as dry or as wet as I want it to be for whatever I'm cleaning.
