Sixty (60) Movies, Various Quality, Lots of Fun, Great Price.
I got this one for $13 and that's a great deal for 60 MOVIES with a combing running time of about 79 hours (feel free to try and sit through them for over three days straight, but it might not be so wise, ha ha).Packaged in a single box holding five standard DVD cases with 3 discs in each case and four movies on each disc. Each DVD case contains a dozen movies with a single (loose) theme: Zombies Unbrained, The Best of The Worst, Taboo Tales, American Horror Stories and Freakshow Cinema.This set has a lot of variety within the horror and science fiction world. There are movies featuring legends like Lugosi, Karloff and Price. There are movies so bad they're good a la Mystery Science Theater 3000 without the riffing. There are a few really good classic horror movies like Night of The Living Dead, House on Haunted Hill, Last Man on Earth and White Zombie. There are crazy old movies that were sold as cautionary tales but made to cash in at the box office like Reefer Madness, Cocaine Fiends and She Shoulda Said No.There are 70s slashers like Don't Answer the Phone, The Driller Killer, and Silent Night, Bloody Night. There' are zombie, mad scientists, crazed killers, kung fun, satanists, freaks demons and more in five dozen movies from the 30s to the drive-in age of the 60s 70s and 80s.As long your paying under $20 or so then this set is worth it. Even if you're a big horror fan and have seen a number of these, it's fun to discover some of other oddities contained here that you haven't seen. The quality of the picture and sound is acceptable throughout and good on .most of the movies. Some of these films are worth buying on Bluray individually with special features and all, but some of them are just fun little curiosities that can be enjoyed for what they are and help to round out your collection.There's plenty here to enjoy and discover.Speaking as a collector, this was impossible to pass up.
