Such a great book! I could not put it down. Surprise is a modern day Paul. Such incredible miracles! So wonderful to see what God is doing!

Words are not sufficient to describe how inspiring this book is. In Hebrews chapter 11, Paul attempts to give us a description of these rare individuals who live, walk and die displaying this type of faith, and in verse 38 he make this statement, the world was not worthy of them. Surprise Sithole is just such a man. Born in extreme poverty and raised in the occult, an unknown voice in the middle of the night saved his life, and started him on a lifetime journey that would bring countless thousand into the Kingdom of God.Another example that could describe him and the events that took place in this book can be found in Mark 16:17-18. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.In today's conference generation, where Christians fly all over the world chasing signs and wonders, it is refreshing to read about a humble individual who has signs and wonders following him. Perhaps if all of us had the same burning desire, love and compassion that compels this man, they would follow us as well.This book has brought me to the conclusion that the only signs and wonders that will make a real difference are those that follow the warrior. Those with the courage to step out of their carpeted sanctuaries and start obeying the Great Commission, for they are the footprints of the Christ within.Although I have given Honor to this humble man, and rightfully so, it is not my intent to place to much praise upon him, and I am sure that he would agree. although the signs and wonders thrilled me, the one comment that I will always remember can be found on the first page of chapter 11. After surviving a massacre he came to this conclusion. Before, Jesus had been the most important thing in my life-by far. Now having lived through this horrendous event I felt that nothing else mattered; I felt that anything that earthy life offered was only an illusion that could evaporate in a moment and that anything I did that was not done for God was a waste of time.

The book reminds me much of what God did in the book of Acts through His Apostles , but in our days . What an amazing God we serve, what a Son we have to worship! Many times I was in awe, while reading this book, because of the incredible and amazing experiences Pastor Surprise was able to live through his faith in the Loving and Powerful name of our Lord Jesus Christ . This book book challenges me to get closer to God and improve my relationship with Him. I truly recommend it. Thank You Jesus , Thank you Pastor Surprise for allowing yourself to be used by God tremendously, and for sharing your faith building/lifting journey with the Lord . I've read this book cover to cover twice and gifted it as well. The miraculous life of Surprise Sithole, born to witch doctors , is riveting. Hearing, literally, from a God he never knew existed, following Him with a passion that brought salvation to remote villages, jungles and towns, fills every page. His ministry included times of great physical challenge- no food, heat, extreme fatigue, lack of shelter, jungle animals, etc, and being in peril where only a miracle from the God he followed would save him. I find it amazing that all of the churches that were started in jungles and remote villages have survived despite a lack of formal theological education in many cases. Just an acceptance of the Word, unbelievable faith and spirit to Spirit communication with their Creator. The book shows that one of our biggest challenges can be a life of ease where we begin to think we are independent of a need for our Savior.

After reading this I truly see why Surprise is one of the most joyful people on the earth! His life is the testimony of the joy only Jesus can give! In the face of death turmoil and tragedy, Surprise has obtained the gift of laughing in the face of the enemy and has used it as a weapon beyond anything on earth!I could not put the book down and would recommend it to anyone seeking first the kingdom of God!

You can not put this book down..yet you want it to last longer..God uses Pastor Surprise to bring joy and remind us how amazing God is .. you will be blessed by this book .. this is one of three books that I hand out to anyone interested in growing their faith or missions

This book has been an absolute amazing story after amazing story. Every day that I read it I have to stop and tell my husband all the things that have happened to surprise and I'm sorry I finished it. I would love to hear more stories I'm sure there are so many he will have to write many more books. God rescues us when there's no one else to rescue us. He is the only one. Praise Jesus! Amazing!
