This is fit to purpose, but does require fenders that it clips to (if I recall correctly), and is a rough fit. It comes with no instructions that I recall, and I had to figure out how to put on from other photos I found on Google. The smaller side goes on the side of the bicycle with the chain. I used zip ties to attach it to the seat stays, but don't know if that's always required.The photo shows it attached it a bicycle slightly too small for it (the shop that installed the fenders definitely thinks so, since I have millimeters of clearance between the fender and wheel close to the seat tube).
