A fully satisfied customer
I recently purchased this LED light bulb due to becoming disabled through ill health and having problems with my mobility which was not helped by my poor vision in poor lighting. The standard B22 energy saving Bayonet light bulbs in my home were not producing sufficient lighting from a safety point of view, even a 100w equivalent energy saving bulb was of poor quality to provide me with enough light to feel safe. I have used LED powered torches for a number of years and have always been impressed by their long-life and cost effective power consumption which gave me the idea of checking whether LED light bulbs were in production, this is when I came across a number of makes and models on Amazon. The AURAGLOW bulbs caught my attention in a number of ways, first was the low price, second was the very detailed product description and also the assurance of instant light (nothing worse than having to wait for a bulb to 'warm up'), and finally the low power consumption of only 9w but equivalent to that of a 100w bulb. Also, 35,000 hours of expected life which I have absolutely no doubt will last me many years. The biggest selling point for me was the claim of a more crisp white light being as close to daylight as possible. After placing the order I could not wait for the bulb to arrive and received it in a timely manner and well packaged to avoid any damage in transit. I have now been using the product for around a month and was pleasantly surprised by it from the start, it was very bright and easy to install and surpassed my expectations. I now have a total of 4 AURAGLOW LED bulbs in my home including one 100w bulb with plans to purchase more from the AURAGLOW range including a colour changing bulb to improve the look/atmosphere of my home. I was surprised that the bulb remained cool to the touch even during operation. I would not hesitate to recommend these bulbs to anyone - which is why I have taken the time to leave such a detailed review, in fact it is my first review of any product I have purchased from Amazon such is the quality and I am not disappointed one bit and only wish I had discovered them sooner - and credit to AURAGLOW for this truly outstanding product. The photos you see in this review are of the actual bulb in operation at the top of my stairs and another shot of the normal and not so bright light in my bathroom. It would be nice if AURAGLOW could eventually produce βsmartβ WiFi colour changing LED bulbs in addition to their current remote controlled colour changing bub but overall I have no complaints whatsoever about the product and am more than satisfied.Darren BeeversBarnsley, South Yorkshire

Well made, evenly lit, energy efficient and dead cheap... What's not to like?
I bought the Auraglow 9w cool white led bulb to replace the standard energy saving filament bulb in the office after i finished decorating. The difference is astounding, you never really notice how odd the standard filament bulb looks until you use one of these. You can see in the images the before and after differences, the grey actually looks grey as opposed to yellow with a filament bulb. The Auraglow 9w led bulb is well made considering the cheap price. The light given off is very even, more of a glow and lights the room well without being overpowering. The bayonet connector fits nice and tight in the fitting and the solid feel of the bulbs outer casing gives confidence that it won't break apart if accidentally knocked. I've sure had a few filament bulbs explode in the past. Also because it's an led light it doesn't generate any heat and is actually more energy efficient than the standard energy saving bulbs. One thing that i have found with this bulb is that i don't get so much eye strain when using the computer. I don't know if it's the led technology or the colour but it has definitely improved my eye strain problem.Overall i am very happy with the Auraglow bulb and i plan on using them throughout the house and also in my display cabinets.Definitely deserves 5 stars from me :)

Good-bye CFL!
This is the first LED bulb that I have used. It arrived promptly and was well packaged.Currently, I have a number of CFL bulbs fitted. They are mostly Phillips bulbs and frankly, they are not very good. The main defect is that they are slow to turn on and do not give a very bright light. The contrast with the AURAGLOW 8W LED B22 (bayonet) cool white bulb is dramatic. The LED bulb gives full brightness immediately. It is similar in size and shape to a conventional incandescent filament bulb with a pearl finish. The light is noticeably whiter than the CFL bulbs and is very bright. I am experimenting with using it in various locations in the house i.e main bedroom light which is quite satisfactory and reading light for which it is a bit too bright. I have now ordered a lower power LED bulb for a reading light. The intention is to replace all my CFL bulbs. As a bonus, I think the CFL bulbs are 11W so replacing the CFL bulbs with LED will result in a small energy saving. 3W per bulb may not seem much but you would be surprised just how many bulbs there can be in an average house! In conclusion I am very pleased with this bulb and expect to order some more in due course.

AURAGLOW 8W LED B22 Daylight
I have three AURAGLOW 8W LED bulbs fitted to a "three light" ceiling fitting. I have two ceiling fittings in our lounge and I can compare the AURAGLOW bulbs with the energy saving Phillips Spiral lights. So far, the AURAGLOW bulbs have been in use for just 10 days. They are instant FULL ON and have a surprising white clear light. The light is pleasant and very acceptable for reading or watching TV. We have found no eye strain or other effect. The AURAGLOW bulbs have a strong downlight characteristic leaving the ceiling area more shaded than other bulb types. The new lights has become un-noticeable now and are part of our furniture. The original incandescent bulbs in each of our fittings required 3 x 60 watts - 180 watts total. The Phillips spiral energy saving bulbs in each fitting required 3 x 11 watts - 33 watts total. The AURAGLOW 8W LED bulbs in each fitting require 3x 8 watts - 24 watts total. Our lounge is north facing and this time of year is our most " light "energy demanding room.I will order further AURAGLOW bulbs for other fittings in our house after about a month usage. So far I am very pleased.David Williams
