I have plantar fasciitis and just have problems with sore feet in general. It's always difficult finding shoes/slippers that I can walk in without having some kind of discomfort. I've read a lot of good things about Vionic, but after trying out SEVERAL different styles, I finally came to the conclusion that they weren't for me. I did what they said and tried wearing them more and more gradually, but I think I have flat feet and the arch support is just too high for me. I then tried one of the Oofos thongs, and although the squishy softness felt good, the rubber between my toes did not and rubbed. So now to Fit Flop Surfah - as soon as I put these on they immediately felt fine! No break-in period required, and I've found that I can take my dog for a walk in these and be just fine. I even went for a longer walk (one that I would usually put shoes and socks on for), and these Surfahs were just fine. I haven't experienced any discomfort at all, and for once, I am not constantly aware of what's on my feet while walking. I just ordered another pair in a light beige color, since the one I own now is black. Oh, and finally, I love that I can just wash these off with a hose when they get dirty, and they dry off relatively quickly.

First time since I've been buying fit flops could not wear them. Couldn't even get them on. Strap actually cut skin on top of my foot.

I have worn FitFlop sandles for several years and love them! I particularly like this style because it has material. They are soft and flexible. They don't need to be broken in.
