La Blanca Women's Island Goddess Solid Hipster Bikini Swimsuit Bottom

I was handed-down a bikini made by this same company.. and feel in love with the fit of the bottoms. It's very rare (for me, anyway), to not get a wedgie when I walk in bikini bottoms (I have a flat/small bum). BUT the La Blanca bottoms I was handed-down fit perfectly! No more constantly readjusting! But the ones I had were hot pink and didn't match many of my other bikini tops - so to Amazon I went - and found they had the exact bottoms - in a bunch of different colors. So, I ordered some black bottoms (kinda pricey, in my opinion, but if they fit as well as my existing ones... then I figured totally worth the money). Just received today - and THEY FIT EXACTLY THE SAME! I love love love. I've now found the company for my forever bikini bottoms. Thank you, La Blanca!

Bought this in black at a major retailer for twice the cost! They were limited to color selection, just black..... Then i found the exact same item on Amazon in the color I wanted!!!! Note: I wear a size 8 women’s but when I tried the 8 on at the retailer they were too small, I ended up In a size 14 and they fit great... why a 14??? Because the fit does not look constricting on my hips and has a smoother look!

These bottoms run a bit small. I usually wear a women’s 4 or 6 but have wider hips and a bit of a butt so I went with an 8 and these were still too tight at my hips, giving me a muffin top. The quality of the material is great and the amount of booty coverage is perfect but the muffin top is a no-no so I will be returning.

Color was a bit brighter than I anticipated but when pairing with a black top, it doesn't matter. Will certainly purchase these in other colors. They are nice material and very durable if taken care of properly. I did notice that the blue bled on my white towel during the first wearing - I suggest a quick full washing (with soap and not just a rinse like I did) to get any color bleeding out - especially if you use white towels at the pool/beach. It wasn't major - but enough to be noticeable that I sat down in a wet blue bottom.

La Blanca swimsuits continue to be well-made so I know I will be happy with ordering them online. The coverage is great - and they're not see-through when you squat down. They also do not feel skimpy and with proper care, should last me several years.

I am 5’ 8” 140 pounds and bought a size 6. I would have to say the bottoms fit just right but I like kind of a looser fit so probably would’ve considered a size 8. It’s too bad these bottoms are 2 to 3 times the price of some other bottoms but they are such a high quality and look so striking that I chose them over some other $20 options offered on Amazon. I’m going to look good on my Caribbean honeymoon lol.

I gave it 3 stars because I do not like the fact that a seam runs down the back of the swimsuit bottom. I have never seen this before unless it is ruching. The seam cheapens it. I wear a size 8 in everything. My hips are 39” I purchased size 10 and they fit perfect.

I misplaced my LaBlanca bottoms, and these now grace my swimsuit wardrobe. They’re really fabulous and flatter.
