Can you confirm the dimensions, please? the spec. shows 24 x 6.5 x 0.5 centimetres but the iron that came with my csp4 plane is 19 x 5 x 0.19 cm

Could this be used to to remove material like a planer, only my planer is too harsh for my current project?
