This is very compact and works well for tight spaces or for taking on an airplane if you like your own shower head when you travel.

I installed an engine oil thermostat on a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 for reasons not pertinent to this review. I bought this wrench on the advice of a fellow Corvette owner who had done the same work. I've used the wrench twice. The first time, to connect the new oil cooler lines to the oil cooler. The second time, to reinstall them after I realized I'd put them on backward. Remember: in at the bottom, out at the top! For the first installation, I had the front bumper cover off of the car. For the second (re)installation, I was able to remove and reinstall the lines without removing the bumper cover. This wrench was the reason why. It's the right size, and it's plenty sturdy. I experience no drift of the jaws during use.

O.K., let's begin by speaking English. The 6 inch wrench opens to 1-3/8" while the 8 inch wrench opens to 1-3/4 Inches. These wrenches are certainly fine for general, light duty work. The adjustment fitting works just fine but there is "wobble" in the travelling arm when it is moved. Once you have it adjusted it should stay on the hardware your are tightening. The shorter handle is really "handy" for close-in spots like under a sink, etc. If you get these wrenches wet BE SURE TO DRY THEM OFF COMPLETELY when you are finished with your work. They WILL rust (just look inside the right claw to see what I mean)! Not bad for the price. Also, these things are hard to find in hardware stores. Good buy--get them.

Its compact, holds it tightend position well, minimal wiggle on adjustable arm. Wide opening is excellent and truly make the tool useful over a lot of sizes. It compliments as a bolt/nut holder when tightening the other side. While its great for an EDC toolbag, the 4" is small in the hand and in retrospect I should have gone with 5" for the extra leverage. I guess I'll have to buy another one :). Decent quality and good price make it a good value item that you will land up using. Shipping is fast - it got to me in under 10 days.

Good enough to use it with kids bike wheels, etc. The length of the spanner is not much so it may not be useful when need to make a big torke to remove difficult ones

Poor quality product not worth the price.
