I would have enjoyed the book better if I hadn't watched the series. The book was not as enjoyable as the series.

This was my first time reading this author, I saw the show on Bet and just had to read it first. I really enjoyed this book I was on the edge of my seat, can’t wait to read the next book.

Excellent book. Highly recommended. Found on Kindle Unlimited and was pleasantly surprised to find the audio to be amazing. I liked all the drama and romance. Characters were relatable. Okay the mystery wasn’t too difficult to solve but there were enough red herrings to keep it interesting. I will look for more books written by this author

This story took some twist interns that I did not expect. I like the style of writing which was witty, realistic, and thoughtful. The author took the time to develop the characters well enough although it would’ve been nice to of had a little more background on a few of them. Overall, I couldn’t put the book down and who is glad that I finally picked it up in the first place.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The author did a great job of showing the true emotions of the characters. I especially loved the character Nia, her loyalty to Vanessa was over the top but I could totally relate to her the most. The friendship they had was very interesting and I could only imagine how being a friend to the wife of a star could be. Would definitely read again and recommend to friends.

I wanted to read the book before I watched the series about the book. The book does not disappoint! Now I can watch the series

I NEVER write reviews because I read so much that the task would be exhausting. But, this book?! It was an a-mazing fast paced adventure full of multiple plot twists & complex characters. There may have been a tad too many designer labels mentioned, LOL, but the story was so good & so well written that I overlooked this minor nuisance. You will have a hard time putting it down, a MUST READ!! I can't wait for the sequel.

The designer names were dropping all through the book like heavy rain. Why so much fascination with designer lables? I mean I get that some of the characters were rich or trying to be rich, but it was too much. And I guess in the next book we see whether Vanessa gets away with first degree murder.

From start to finish I enjoyed this book. I was enthralled by the characters and the playful way the author jostled between them. I would recommend this book as a perfect summer holiday, or daily commute read. Overall, a medium-weight thriller with doses of humour, gruesome crime and sexy encounters.

Great read, very unexpected turns in the book that make you want to stay up and read it all in 1 night.

Not a bad story, but it did not leave me longing for more from this author. Not exactly a nail biter.

Couldn't read more than a page.

Great read. I would recommend this book.
