The unbrella stand broke after just 2 days - the design is just not up to the job. Steer well clear of this product.In trying to resolve this with the seller, it was a catalogue of errors. They initially could not understand what was broken on the stand, hence it took 5 emails for them to even understand what had broken (it's simple - there's only 2 parts!).They then promised to send out a replacement part. It never arrived.They then promised again to send out a replacement part. This too never arrived.I eventually asked for a full refund. They did provide this, however they have still failed to provide the refund of the £23.40 postage that I spent sending their rubbish product back to them.The seller has taken no responsibility for this mess and keeps trying to push problem back to Amazon to sort.Very poor product, only beaten to that description by being backed by a very poor Customer Service.STEER CLEAR OF THIS PRODUCT IF YOU VALUE GOOD SERVICE

First windy day and the base unit broke. On investigation the tube that connects to the base is not securely welded, it appears to be a poor spot weld in a couple of places. It was inevitable that it would break given the poor quality of construction. I have to pay the postage to return the item to the supplier under their warranty. Not sure its worth the hassle. My recommendation is 'do not buy'

The stand had to be sturdy , it needed the flexibility of the different fitting . Which not many stands have . I also needed it to be heavy but also move . It’s brilliant I couldn’t have chosen anything better .

Works as it should in normal weather but even with the parasol down it is not enough to stop the parasol pulling over, recent gales have proved.

Base for new parasol

Even though Amazon said the base was recommended for the parasol, its the wrong size with the centre piece in. Took at out and tightened it and seems fine but please don't recommend the wing size
