Dr. Price's Vitamins Electrolytes Powder Packets, Raspberry, 30 Pack

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I'm disabled and I have a form of dysautonomia called orthostatic hypotension. It's similar to POTS but not exactly POTS. I need electrolytes all day, every day to basically stay alive. Without it, I become severely dehydrated within 24 hours and need medical intervention sometimes. I cannot, absolutely cannot drink plain water. It dehydrates me, quickly. Becoming dehydrated drops my blood pressure lower than it already is and my heart becomes too stressed to function properly. So when choosing an electrolyte mix, I did my research and I read dozens and dozens of labels. My minor in college was Nutrition (now called Health and Society I think?) The ingredients in Dr. Price's lined up with what my research and prior knowledge was telling me I needed and what the cardiologist had broadly and deficiently discussed. I've been using it for maybe about a year now? I rotate a couple different mixes to change up the monotony of the taste, but this one is by far my favorite. The other one I use is IQMIX. I'm fiercely loyal to both. I buy Dr. Price's in the bulk canister and it lasts me a little longer than the recommended servings. It's a little too sweet at full dose for me, but I find ALL mixes to be too sweet full strength. I've had this disorder for at least a decade and by using this product, I've been able to figure out the amount of electrolytes I need daily (it changes every single day) and I've been able to stay away from the cardiologist for the entire year. The ingredients seem really solid, the taste is bangin', and it's a really good bargain in the canister compared to individual packets. It fully dissolves in water with a little shake. There is no texture whatsoever. There isn't really even a lingering aftertaste. It's fantastic for a recovery drink if I need to force-hydrate to elevate my blood pressure fast. I come around pretty quickly with it (within 15 mins), and it's easy to chug if needed lol. I do a lot to keep my body alive day to day, but this mix is probably the foundation of it all. No exaggeration. I rarely write reviews, but maybe this can help someone out there struggling like I was.

Brought this to replace Electro mix which is not made any longer. This works on my leg cramps just as well and it's not Gatorade sweet. 1 packet in about 2oz of water shot it down works fast.

Great electrolytes! Sweetener is stevia. The blueberry pomegranate flavor is a great balance, not anything overpowering. In addition you can buy it in a jar. You get more for your money. It comes with a scoop so you get the right amount in a 16 ounce glass of water. It was a great service, a quick delivery of my order!

I absolutely love this product. However, I bought the 90 serving pack and after only 2 months, it's already hard as a rock and I cannot scoop it. I use it 4-5 times a week, so it's not like it's been sitting in my cabinet for ages. The product tastes delicious, dissolves easily, and I can tell a big difference in the effect it has on my hydration. As an athlete and someone who has low blood pressure, it works very well. My only complaint is the longevity of the product. Obviously it's cheaper to buy it in larger amounts but it is hardening before I can get through it, and I use it pretty often.

Not a good tropical flavor. I tried to love it, really I did. I won't drink it, so there it sits looking at me every day. After trying a few other brands and flavors I'm not wild about any of them. **UPDATE** After posting the above review, the company reached out to me offering a full refund AND samples of all their other flavors. Of course I jumped right on this offer!! My grandsons and I want to tell everyone that the other flavors are quite good. We especially like the Pomegranate Blueberry and raspberry. I like mine more diluted in 24 ounces of ice and water. Thank you to Dr Price's Electrolyte Mix Packets, I now get great hydration daily from flavored water. It's a nice change-up from plain water during the day. And I'm feeling better, which is a huge plus! Thanks Dr. Price's for the refund, and the free samples!! We found our brand.

5 STARS - tastes GREAT, no bad aftertaste, feels amazing to drink, I have MANY allergies to all sugars/alcohol sugars/ gluten, artificial colors/dye, soy, etc. I tried 13 diff electrolytes that tasted BAD or made me sick. BUT 1 STAR- BECAUSE THIS USED TO BE $20 a container!!! Then went up to $25, then $30. Current price is: $60+ & more!! 😱 ($45 with a lightning deal OR $40 subscribe & save.) MAKES ME SAD TO SAY I CANT AFFORD TO USE THIS DUE TO PRICE😥 Dr. Price's Electrolytes what's up?? That's a ridiculous price change!! I was your BIGGEST supporter of these electrolytes. Recommend to 20+ people I know use this like me for health!!! Can we find a middle ground? Or sadly you will LOSE MANY LOYAL CUSTOMERS!! 1 Star for price, 5 stars for everything else. Mejor manera de ingresar electrolitos que comprando botellas con mucho azúcar. Sabe muy bien y se disuelven en un segundo.
