Stop Stricking Your Neck Out
If you occasionally pull too far forward at the stop line at a red-light, you may have to stick your neck out to see when the light changes. Or if your roofline overhangs your windshield. This prismatic lens (held on by static charge) let's you look straight ahead, stop sticking your neck out!

Performed as advertised.
The product worked as well as it was advertised to do. I liked it so much I bought one for a friend. Application was easy and the price was worth money. I recommend it for Street Roders with chopped top vehicles.

It Works!
Like many people with a bad back driving an SUV, I have to put a cushion under me so that I am sitting high enough that I my posture doesn't put pressure on my lower spine. But then I can't see the traffic light if I am at the front of the line (or the only one in line) without craning my neck forward.I was a little suspicious of whether this device would work, but based on reviews, I figured I'd give it a try. And whaddaya know, it Does. A glance up at the top of the windshield displays a miniaturized version of what's directly above. Yeah the image is distorted, and tiny, but the color of the traffic light is plain to see. When you apply it, as per instructions, there will be some fuzzy areas that appear to indicate that it isn't making contact with the glass, but they go away on their own in a day or two.

Sit up straight and *still* see the light!
My initial impression was "Wow! This is great!" I waited a few days before reviewing. After days of testing and careful consideration, "Wow! This is great!"You *will* see the sun when you wouldn't otherwise, but it's just an image of the sun so if you don't look directly at it you'll be ok. There can be a slight distraction for the first few minutes but it's up at the top of your field of view and not really a bother. The lettering on the smooth side should be reversed so it reads right from inside the car, and yes, he should raise the price and do free shipping. It's still great. I'm buying three more - one for my wife's car and one each for my two brothers. Here is my improved installation instruction (already moved it back and forth between my car and the wife's).1) Clean the inside of your windshield with a NON-AMMONIA cleaner.2) Sit up straight and look straight ahead. Use your left index finger to make a mark at the top of where you can see on the windshield.3) Wet the smooth side of the LightInSight (less mess than wetting your freshly cleaned windshield). I used a spray bottle.4) Using the index mark you made press the smooth side of the lens to the inside of your windshield. Smooth out any air bubbles. You can move it around for a few minutes.5) Carefully clean up the small mess around where you were just sliding it around. He notes that it may look slightly cloudy for 6-24 hours while the water dries. I didn't notice that happening. The image of the lights is small, but easily seen.

You won't be disappointed!
I'm no giant but at 6' 2" I've always had problems craning my neck to see overhead traffic lights. I also suffer with chronic lower-back and neck pain, so sometimes it's not even an option. This leaves me looking like; an old granny as I pull up twenty feet before the light; an insecure new driver as I wait for the car next to me to pull away; or an unaware daydreamed as I wait until the person behind me honks-their-horn (which, according to a recent study, is anywhere between thirty-five milliseconds in New York City, to eight-and-a-half minutes in Ontario, Canada)*.I never imagined that there were any solutions out there so I didn't bother looking for one. I came across this product purely by chance while looking for a zero-gravity outdoor recliner that wasn't designed on the premise that, surely nobody over the height of 6' would ever sit down outside. I didn't find one yet but I did spot this clever little creation. The concept is simple — once somebody else has already invented it. A bunch of prisms angled such that, when you are in pole-position at the traffic-light and the roof of your vehicle is obstructing your view of the light, then enough of a view of the signal is refracted for you to see the color of the light. Finally I don't have to crick my neck every time I'm front of line at the signal. You can't quite tell the difference between straight-ahead and filter arrows so be aware of which light is which and you'll be good.Shipping was super quick too, ordered on Friday arrived on Monday.*72.6% of all statistics are made-up.

It works......however
Mixed emotions on my satisfaction, but in fairness to the product "they told me so".Here's the deal. I live in Florida, and like MANY Floridians I've installed an aftermarket tinted sun strip at the top of my windshield to stop the sun glare that the standard windshield tint does not adequately address. Now the product outline WARNS against this because it hampers the products performance. And they are correct. However, while the performance IS hindered, I feel that the item STILL has value. At night, without the glare of the sun, the product performs magnificently. During the day, there are restrictions. If the sun is beating directly into the windshield, you can barely make out the outline of overhead signal lights and the color of the signal (red or green) is impossible to see. When the sun is NOT shining directly into the windshield, you can clearly see the overhead traffic signals. Sadly, you can NOT see the "Red" coloring if the signal, but you CAN see when the signal turns to "Green".So.......I write this review to those, like me, that have a heavily tinted windshield that may be turned off by the products accurate disclaimer. There IS still value, albeit limited.

Must Have!
I have a Jeep and was a little skeptical because these windshields are straight and flat but this thing works Great!Install was super easy but until the water dried it would slide around when I was getting the bubbles out. Now it's sticks real good after drying. Looks good. Doesn't get in the way.Definitely a must have if you have trouble seeing stop lights!
