Dakota Digital Clip Watch with Compass & Dual Time

I had been DIY’ng my watched to fit on slips I got for my belt for my watch, but they hung down pretty low and I was not comfortable with something swinging around like that. (For my front belt loop). I’m an EMT intern and initially wanted an analog watch, but on the fly it is difficult to see in the back of the ambulance and admittedly the second hands on my watch were small and hard to read quickly. BUT….! I did alot of research and got this Dakota Digi Clip watch (it came in today) and I am so glad I did! It has a stop watch that I can use for RR and HR on a patient, it DOES have a backlight, the number are big but not annoying. I wish I had gotten this sooner instead of trying to do it myself (I cut up a lot of nylon watch straps lol!) 🤦🏻‍♀️ I can wear this everyday (my style is more casual as a woman who is pretty active) so it’s perfect for me. Plus, I don’t have to worry about having a watch to snag on gloves or worry about getting bodily fluids all over it, it’s out of the way but right there! ***I also set it to military time to show you that it had that option).

Good quality last long

When I first took the watch out of the box, the button to set the time didn't make anything flash (as it was supposed to). I tried again, bringing the button in from a bit of an angle, and it worked -- and continued to work for months... ...until it didn't. I got out the box and saw "lifetime warranty" but only on the movement. This was a silly plastic button that stopped working, not the whole watch movement. I took the watch to a Dakota kiosk at the local mall, and the gentleman there said it would have to be sent in. I had seen on the sheet in the box that such service could cost up to $20 plus S&H. But he said the warranty for the whole watch was for five years -- it was covered. That was the very good news. The semi-bad news was that shipping it off would take 6-8 weeks. So, here I am without a watch for a while, but at least Dakota stood by their product. If you have a Dakota kiosk nearby, I can recommend this watch. If not, then you might end up spending almost the price of the watch on a repair if something silly stops working. The watch itself -- very solid device and the crystal has remained un-scuffed for about 6 months. I like the look of it, and the carabiner is sturdy and easy to clip and unclip. No qualms with the aesthetics or functionality of the timepiece itself

I will be buying another one - and will update my review: Initial Unboxing: Excellent presentation/ packaging When you hold the watch, it feels like it’s worth 3x the price tag. It’s hefty (in a great way) perfect sized display, + nice illumination (it’s blue/ teal - RED light would be cooler; FDE powder-coated body would be LEGIT) , the clip seems to be good quality. I did have an issue with the watch which I’ll explain: The back-plate of the watch came off without me realizing - - the only explanation I can conjure is that my radio mic carabiner and the watch had a sword fight and the carabiner won - definitely an underdog / upset, as the carabiner material wasn’t near the quality of the watch Pic is after 4 weeks of work aboard an ATB as a Tankerman/ merchant marine (I leave the watch clipped to my PFD. ) I am 100% buying another one in hopes that this one was perhaps a dud - the watch itself is great- just need to retest it’s performance - will retest and intend to return ( although, no news is good news - if I fail)

Easy to use. I hook it to my lanyard. Feels more durable that a wristwatch.

After reading the reviews for this watch, I was very reticent to make the purchase. I feared the glass would be scratched and cracked day one, or worse, it would be dead-on-arrival. But, I grew frustrated with my wristwatches, having to take them on and off to wash my hands. So, I took the plunge, bought it, and don't regret it. After a month, the glass in intact, though I must confess that, for weeks, I left the plastic adhesive cover that usually comes with watches on the glass for a sense of security. Sure, it would come off and on, until it finally came off and disappeared. And, after some time, the watch took some bumps and flops while hanging on the belt loop of my pants, but is still undamaged. It's far less intrusive than a wrist watch for everyday use, it reads well, keeps accurate time, can be backlit at night for a brief time with the press of a button, and feels really cool. Lightweight too, I like the feel. As for the compass, I can't speak much on it's accuracy, but looks pretty unreliable (not why I bought it though, so irrelevant to me). Also, it was very easy to set-up; I had no issues.

I bought 2 watches that kinda looks like this watch at walmart but this watch is a higher quality

Die Lieferzeit war natürlich länger, aber das Produkt kommt ja aus den USA! Eine sehr schöne multifunktionale digitale Taschenuhr in einem klassischen Design. Genau die richtige Größe: nicht zu groß und passt gut in die Westentasche; nicht zu klein - die Zeit ist problemlos ablesbar. Ein echter Hingucker (eyecatcher).

My son loves it. He works as a baggage handler and cannot where a wristwatch as they can catch on various things he has to load and unload daily. This watch is attached to the pocket tags on his work coat and he can flip it up to view when needed. We had purchased a dial style previously and was a little to small to read when on the run, but this with the large numeral display work excellent. The metal clip and body are fairly secure and seem to standing up quite well.
