This is probably one of the best buys I ever made from Amazon. It works beautifully and create a perfect rubber like fit. I used it on 2 skeletonized knives, and now there much more comfortable to use. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Great dip I use this to dip the end of my turkey bread to hold the end together. I think it would work great on tools . Easy to use and the thickness was just right and I believe the durability will last a long time on the ends of my turkey beards.

I prefer working with Plasti Dip over shrink wrap for tool handles, etc. What I do to avoid any dripping or excess dip at the bottom of the handles, is as I am lowering the tool into the canister, I am also making a slow swirling motion...and I repeat that motion as I raise the tool from the canister. Just before I completely remove the tool, I pause and twirl the tool to ensure any residual dip is off the handle. I let the tools hang to dry for about 15 minutes and then dip again. By the way, use a paint stirrer or chopstick to thoroughly mix the product...it makes it thicker and applies far better. The photos show handles I dipped four times...they aren't overly thick, but have good cushion. I let them dry for a good 4 hours before using.

This has always worked great. I just wished the open container shelf life could be a little longer.

I "softened" the end of a metal pipe plant hanging rod in safety RED, then went on to repair the handles of a couple pair or pliers that was long overdue. Use it or lose it before it dries up!

Good product. Does what it says. Holds up to the Las Vegas heat pretty well. Then when I feel like it, I gave a re-application also makes a nice grip.

While this may be a great product, its shelf life once opened is probably about 10 days. I've used it 3 times in a week and it seems like a nice product but when I came back a week later, the contents of the container were almost solid with no chance of dipping my tools again. Web search said to use "Plasti Dip Thinner" but none was found for sale and not even listed on plastidip website. Now in search of alternative thinners mentioned by others having the same problem. Who would think that a tubular potato chip container is suitable packaging a product with VOC.

Great products . . . but use the entire amount fast as air will kill the what not use if not used quickly. Thankfully I had lot of wooden tool hands that I had to coat and boy does this product work as advertised.
