Fabulous monitor
Love the multi-PC connections and the ability to divide the screen into 1, 2, or 4 subscreens. If you split the screen in two, you can run a Windows machine in half the screen and a Linnux machine simultaneously.

LG FRAUD COVER-UP
“Rumors have it that there are violations of consumer protection laws by LG USA that are pervasive and deeply-rooted in LG culture. The company is purportedly selling products with non-existent features. LG USA apparently refuses to take corrective measures voluntarily as their practices seem to continue unabated. There appears to be little in the way of reliable warranty work.Until sweeping changes have been embraced by LG USA, anyone wishing to avoid consumer nightmares similar to those who have already been victimized would be wise to look elsewhere for their home solution needs.”This can be attested to:In 2018, their 43” monitor (43UD79-B) was purchased after assurances by one of their dealers that it was compatible with a new MacBook Pro. A week later, the dealer was informed about the volume not being adjustable from the keyboard. The monitor was replaced. The replacement unit worked fine upon arrival, however external speakers were used shortly thereafter. Ten (10) months later, the need for the monitor’s speakers came about. Attempts to use the monitor’s speakers failed as it now had the same issues that existed with the previously monitor. LG sent a local repair tech to replace the circuit board but doing so did not resolve the problem.LG sent out a 2nd tech. He too was unsuccessful although he wasn’t even a tech. He just came out to document the problem as the tech wasn’t able to keep the appointment. The tech never came out after waiting a week. There were assurances from LG support that the monitor was Mac compatible, sending out a 3rd tech, this time one of their own employees. Being unable to unable locate the problem, the tech determined that the monitor was not Mac compatible after searching an online Mac forum. This was newfound information for them after 1 year of complaints from numerous Mac users.LG refuses to accept any responsibility even though they freely admit to their many failures. Additionally, they won’t post this review on their website when submitted. This coverup, along with their negligence, appears to have metastasized into fraud and conspiracy to commit. However, injured parties must learn to bear with the consequences as there isn’t any recourse available to them. The best they can do is to avoid any future purchases of LG products.
