The photos on the Amazon page don't really do this thing justice. It feels solid due to the aluminium case. The little OLED screen on the back is very clear and the operation of the light is very straightforward - you can control brightness and colour temperature and the screen gives you an estimate of remaining battery life based on the brightness. I was less keen on the on/off button - this has no other function, but you still need to hold it down for 2 seconds for anything to happen. I don't know why this is, it doesn't seem necessary.The light comes with a velveteen pouch which will protect it from scratches. I can't really comment on battery life - I've been using it lightly (ouch, pun alert!) for about a week and only charged it once. It does have a big battery built-in, and you can use it to charge other devices such as your phone if you get caught short. I personally wouldn't use the hotshoe mount - that would position the light head-on to the subject and make it look flat. Instead, I use the threaded holes (there are 2, one for portrait and one for landscape) to mount it on a tripod. I've used it as a fill light for a talking head in a video, and also for general scene illumination. Be careful with this, it's a bright light and it will cast shadows.To sum up, this is a great little light, about the same size as a mobile phone, very well made and very powerful. And it's very reasonably priced, so I definitely would recommend it.

It came as described. In its own protective zipped box, with 2 cables usb-c to usb2 and to usb3, and hotshoe. The first full charging was for about 4 hours. Button on/off looks a bit fragile - have to press for 1-2 sec to on/off and I think it may freeze in its little hole. Other buttins are fine. Dimable light also cold/hot %. Rear panel for bat life, lumen. Will add more comments as I test it for interviews and closeups for up to two pax. So far it looks fine, it's not heavier or bigger than my SGalaxy A7.

Great product at an affordable price.The item is very compact and lightweight and comes with two charging cables a regular USB male to USB-C as well as a USB female to USB-C. The charge time is very quick, the light also doubles up as a battery pack for your phone or other devices which has a 4000 mAh capacity.Additionally a drawstring carry pouch is included as a way to safely transport the light safely and an adjustable camera mount that you can use to attach the light to your rig setup or DSLR camera. The light allows mounting either horizontally or vertically and also features two lanyard holes.The light has a display at the back which helpfully shows how much charge there is, the current lighting settings and an estimate as to how much battery life (in hours) is left. Adjusting the settings such as increasing the brightness will automatically update the estimated usage time.There are four buttons on the side. The first turns the device on, while the second switches between controlling the brightness and controlling the colour. The last two buttons increase or decrease the levels of whichever is selected.The colour range can go from 3200k to 5600k and the brightness percentage from 1%-100%. Having it set to 1% gives plenty of light to illuminate an area. For my needs I generally have it around 10% brightness which is estimated to last over 12 hours at full charge.In summary this is a fantastic product which is a great companion for those needing a portable light.

This is a great little LED light that performs perfectly! The device itself is a great size, small enough for portability but also powerful enough to light up what you need. The back LED display is easy to see and use, you can change the brightness and color temperature as you wish. It comes with the charging cables, a soft travel bag, and a removable hot shoe mount for your camera. The light can also double up as a portable charger and you can use it to charge another USB powered device. The device itself seems rugged and well built, not some cheap china plastic. I'd definitely recommend, it's perfect for youtube videos, night time projects or even things like makeup lighting etc!

Fantastic light.I love this unit because it’s so light and ‘chuckable’ that I can light pretty much anywhere with it! Controls are super easy, and build quality is excellent with an aluminium shell. Battery life is pretty good; would be nice to have a slightly thicker unit with more battery inside, but this is more than enough for me. Excellent product, I’ll be getting more!

Good quality light. Only downside is you need to hold the power button for 2 secs to turn on and off. Would be better if was just a simple click

I have had the product for little over a week and it perfect for my type of work. I do a lot of talking to camera and it is bright enough and the ability to change colour temp is just what I need. It is small which is perfect for me as I have a lot of equipment. It’s well made and feels like it will take a few knocks(not that I will be testing it out). Overall very pleased with the light!

Very pleased with this product which I have used for fungi photography and studio lighting. It comes in a good protective case which was important to me for use in the field. The light source is bright and the battery life is several hours. It recharges quickly from the USB port on my computer.
