Spectracide Insect Killer, 1 gallon

This is a much belated, but warranted, review. In Texas we have these things called fleas, but they're straight from hell because they are immune to almost everything imaginable, even prescription flea medications. A couple years ago we had a problem with fleas under a building that were getting into our place of business and I was recommended this by a customer. Since that was a couple years ago I totally forgot about it by the time I got a serious flea infestation in my garage in the early part of this year. After multiple flea bombs, exterminators, chemical treatments, nothing was working. The dog was still getting fleas and he takes NextGuard Plus. The cats were still getting fleas and they're on variety of Revolution Plus, Advantage, and natural repellants. So when I remembered I had this stuff I still wasn't holding my breath since no matter how I treated the garage, I'd still be covered in fleas from a simple 3 foot walk-in-walk-out test. All over my pants! Well, after all this I guess you know where this is going. This stuff worked! It took about 3 days for it to take effect, but once it did, BOOM! All the fleas in the garage are finally gone and now with the constant exposure being removed, I've been able to get all the fleas removed from the pets and yard and we are happy as clams onice again! BTW this stuff is not safe for pets, so don't use it ON them, just use it in the environment and make sure to read the ENTIRE instruction label.

Oh no. This product sprayer never worked and when I put it in my car to take to return. I laid it down on its side. I had no idea that the liquid inside would all leak out or I would have taken the time to secure it more sturdy to prevent that. Was too late by the time I noticed so their product container is not functional and I should get my money back.

My sprayer doesn't work right. It took me forever to spray my yard!!!

Last year out of nowhere our yard and enclosed porch suddenly had a flea infestation. I treated the yard with Spectraside and it did the job in the yard. Now it's happening again this year at the same time as last year so I'm going to use it again.

Works wonders

I used it outside for insects but it didn't work couldn't even kill ants so disappointed

Last year I tried to take care of my pest issues naturally and failed miserably. I have issues with aphids, mites, spider mites and a voracious beetle. My plants are of the flowering type and have many different varieties. Lost my entire crop of milkweed to the beetles. Lost my Mums to spider mites and aphids took out my daisy bushes. This year I decided pesticides were better than losing everything again. The same pest showed up again this year and with constant checking of every plant things are going much better. I was worried about what damage this product could do to my plants and have seen nothing and have been using it for over a month. This product works great but it's up to you to be diligent about constant checking.

I purchased 40 Gallons (4-1 Gallon Jugs) of this plus 40 Lbs (4-10 Lb of the Spectracide Triazicide Insect Killer For Lawns Granules, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000S6TN8G?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details ) and used both products on a roughly 5100 SQ FT area of my yard. That's correct, I used 40 Gallons & 40 Lbs of this insect Killer in the same 5100 SQ FT area of my yard and it literally killed nothing at all. I have a problem with Black & Red ants, Mosquitoes (a few but not the reason I got this product) and June Bugs (Japanese Beetles) only in my front yard. The Ants are still very active, the Mosquitoes are still hanging around and the June Bugs seem to be enjoying the slight fragrance of this killer product while wallering around in the grass . I'll just stick to the old way of ridding my yard of these pest, Soapy water for the ants and Bag Traps for the Mosquitoes and June Bugs. On a positive note I am extremely happy I bought this on Amazon instead of my local Shop since locally they charge $22+ per bag of granules and $20+ for a 16oz bottle of the spray.
