Works as described
Product is well made. The porosity of the blocks seems to be a good size. A lot of these type block are fragile, these are well made very well with very little chipping or degrading. Economically priced when compared to others.

These things are amazing the are so dense that bacteria just love them just drop in a sump and forget about it

Very nice product
Great product. There was a lot more in the box than I thought would be there. I put them in a FX4 by orientating one bask with all the bricks facing up. Then another basket I broke them in half and layed they side ways. If you are breaking them like I did, use a big chisel or flat screw driver. Then you want to rise them. Overall, really good product.

Good option for Eshopp Cube Nano
Fit well in tiny sump! Looks great! Pretty inexpensive! Probably double whatever quantity you think you need. I probably could have used more.

Great value for the money
Pretty standard ceramic media. Satisfied. Took a star off for packaging however. There is no padding in the box and if mishandled in shipping the blocks will break easily so inspect carefully upon receipt.

Ok let me start off by saying that no it doesn't just "melt" or "crumble" easy it definitely doesn't turn to sand an the people that say so check your source because you straight living to others. The box I ordered was from Amazon them self and it's very high quality they are almost like air stones were as when you first soak them they will open up better an be more porus Wich is exactly what you want an il say they are very porus like extremely. They will cut to prices with ease just start a cut with a razor blade an give the blade a good tap will go right threw but I definitely recommend this for a sump or canister filter an the do fit the basket in a fluval 307. Hope this helps.
