Maria Lucia's delicious creamy Porridge with no gluten is perfect for a quick, tasty and y breakfast. Made with fine gluten free oat flakes for quick cooking times. Cook in a pot or even pour boiling water over the oats and allow to stand for 3-5 minutes. Our Porridge Pots are Certified Gluten Free, they're also wheat free and dairy free and contain no added sugar or salt. Maria Lucia's gluten free porridge contains numerous s & minerals: Potassium such as iron and B6 High in magnesium Thiamine (B1) Riboflavin (B2) Biotin (B7) Perfect for vegetarians and vegans. Our Story Maria's passion for y, home baked food goes way back. Growing up in Wicklow, Ireland, her family had a Tearoom, Guesthouse and Antique shop. Everything served was home baked by Maria's mother in her Stanley range cooker. She would start at dawn every morning, filling the range with logs and turf to bake delicious soda breads, scones, cakes, biscuits, jams and her famous homemade lemonade. Maria has been making her own delicious homemade granola and muesli for many years. But when a friend with a gluten intolerance stayed with her it gave her the idea to make Gluten Free Granola. She spent a day experimenting and trying out new flavours, tasting lots of yummy combinations of fruits, honey, vanilla, nuts and until she created the very best granola recipes. The friend was delighted to eat what she called 'real food' again. Maria gave some Granola to her coeliac friend. Within days the word spread and people were asking her to make it for them. Just like her mum her hobby had become her business.
