Good Repalcement Key Fob Case
I purchased this key fob because I needed to replace my Jeep case and didn't want to spend a lot of money. My old one was acting up because the plastic case was worn out. I simply swapped out the key and circuit board from my old case into the new case and my key fob now works perfectly! I don't know how this would work if you needed to program it and have a new key cut.

It works Great
I like the fact that it was reasonable to buy. I also liked the fact that I was able to find a locksmith who programmed it for a reasonable amount. FYI, they’re much cheaper than going to the dealer. Also, after all is said and done I now have an additional working remote, which I was very happy about.

Don’t do it
Bought this a little over a month ago and I’m going to need to get a brand new one from the dealership anyway because it barely works. The price was right but in hindsight I wish I never bought it because it was really expensive to get it programmed and now it’s a gamble whether or not my car will actually start.

It works!!
I bought this based on the reviews that suggested it would work to get programmed which was my primary concern for an after-market fob. I took it to a dealer where I was having my car serviced and paid $50 to have the fob programmed and it WORKS!! Yes, you can negotiate the price at a dealer. I checked 3 dealers, the cheapest I found was $49.95 (though that same dealer would have charged over $200 for the fob). This dealer wanted $80. I said I had checked other dealers, and if they would match that price, I do it here otherwise I'd just go to the other place and they agreed to the lower price. I did not need the key cut which would have been another $20, but they inadvertently did it anyway so I lucked out.The only drawbacks I notice about this fob is that the writing is not quite white like a new one, there is no JEEP logo on the back, and there is no small little ring to attach to a key chain which could be problematic because you can't attach it to your other keys.

Cost effective replacement for OEM.
Thought I would give this a chance as opposed to buying the much more expensive OEM fob. Had the Jeep dealer program it for me and it works as well as my OEM fob. Hopefully, it will be durable. Dealer said he didn't blame me for buying the less expensive fob. He said he has seen them work well, but some he as seen have not. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Works part of the time.
The key came in and is good quality but it only works part of the time. My car will say hit push button with key or no key fob or randomly say key fob has left vehicle. I took it back to the place that programmed it and they replaced the battery but they key is still having issues. I went with this option because it was cheaper than the $300 dealership key. I guess you do really get what you pay for sometimes.

Works great.
Took it to a locksmith and it programmed easily. The locksmith said that a lot of after market FOB's will not take the programming but this one took it on the first try. I read all of the reviews and one person said their FOB only works when its right next to the vehicle but the one I got works just like my original factory FOB.

Life Saver for 2014 Jeep Gr.Chkee
It works on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland that has a push-to-start. I was about to take my car to the dealership and pay $530 for 1 key fob. After watching some YouTube videos and checking on Amazon and doing a lot of research I found these fobs. I took a chance and ordered 2. The fobs arrived the next day and my local Pop-A-Lock guy came out and programmed both of them for me for $169! I live in the West Palm Beach.

Item could not be programmed by dealership need to return.

Don't waste your time
Did not work at all on 2015 Grand Cherokee. Now also out $100 for dealer to try to program.
