There’s a multitude of uses for this device. Strong & well made. Highly recommended
After a back injury made it impossible for me to bend at all and barely walk so this device has been my saviour. It’s amazing and can pick up a tiny bit of fluff off the carpet to picking up a shoe that’s out of reach. I’ve opened cupboards with it, pull down a blind and closed curtains. Also a life saver when my knickers fell round my ankles when I was at the loo, being the only person in the house I dread to think how I’d managed without this device! Now all I need to remember is to always keep it handy!I love how well made and sturdy it is and it folds up to take up less space should you need to take it out with you. With it multitasking gripping end it has multiple uses and I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone with mobility problems.

Probably the best thing I've ever bought for my missus.
Picks up the little tablets she keeps dropping, her socks that appear in the strangest of places and jars, bottles etc that insist on hiding under or behind furniture after our grandson has finished playing with them.At £15, it's the same as four visits to our hospital car park and I've not put my back out once since buying this. To save walking around looking for where she's left it, I'm waiting for a second one to arrive. There's plenty of other ones out there but this Helping Hand one is very well made, light and durable (so far - two months down the line).

The build quality and features are amazing but it falls short on it's main purpose
Love the ability to fold and the magnet at the front. The build quality is nice though the design is very niche. (apparently this is for people who have difficulty bending down and it does that really well)The bottom jaw is the only one that moves which means that to open out as far as ones where both jaws move the bottom jaw sticks out quite far which causes it to catch on the floor; the optimum angle for picking up stuff also changes so you have to be slightly above it - which is good if you're already standing up and don't want to bend down but not if you're sitting down and don't want to get upOperating it one handing is slightly annoying. The trigger bumps into my 4th finger slightly every time it closes. The weight is fine when holding it normally but if I need to grab anything sideways it's a bit uncomfortable.Overall it's a nice addition to the flat as a "use it to grab people's hats or put something on somebody else's head" but I wouldn't use it as a professional "grab the remote from the table thing"/s

Grabbers have good reach, pick up tiny items to clothes and shoes etc.
These are the second pair of grabbers I have bought that are HH. First pair still in use after 30 years, these I bought to use upstairs, I forget to take them with me hehe. Great design, light and easy to use. Good reach and definitely good value for money. Can pick up very small objects to larger items including, clothes and shoes. Very handy if your tall or cannot bend down to get things. Highly recommend HH.

Picks up effectively. Easy operation
This grabber exceeded my expectations.Needed a reliable grabber as I have a herniated disc. The pincers of the grabber are made of a rubber material which has a soft serrated edge to prevent slipping. They fit together in such a way that they can't rotate around each other that you sometimes see with cheap grabbers. They are gentle and effective enough that I was able to pick up a dropped tablet. This was very pleasing as a have a young daughter and pets and didn't want to leave it on the floor. It also has a strong enough grip to pick up cans. The span is adequate and more than enough for everyday tasks. It has enabled me to do many of the things I want to do without having to wait for help, from picking up dropped laundry to even helping me get my knickers on!The magnet on the end is useful for lightweight items such a hair grips or small screws. The folding feature is useful if you want to take it out with you.I have given it 4 stars for weight but this is due to it's sturdy construction. Flimsy grabbers may be lighter but if this is not a consideration for your condition do not hesitate to give this grabber a go.

Very well made and easy to use!!
This grabber is lightweight, easy to use and very well made. I am a wheelchair user so I thought it would be a good idea to buy one in case I needed it one day and it has honestly made my life so much easier, I can use it for things I didn’t even think about when buying it! I love that there is a clip for when you fold it in half as it is then very easy to store as well as being discreet. The grabber itself is very effective and picks things up with very good grip, there is also a hook on it which is useful and there is a small magnet on the bottom of it, the magnet is good for lightweight objects but isn’t strong enough for heavier objects but I would still recommend this grabber!!

Every home should have one
This is a fantastic gadget. We bought it when our daughter had her leg in plaster and got around with a walking aid. It was moderately useful for her then, but after her recovery we've found it indispensible. It's great for getting things (that aren't too heavy) off high shelves, retrieving objects that have fallen behind radiators, or rolled under dressers. Since covid it has become indispensible for picking up letters and small packages and putting them into a quarantine area for a few days.It has a terrific array of flat/curved/angled surfaces for manipulating objects, and is really efficient in use.It is limited to light objects. Don't be tempted to lift e.g. a glass jam from the grocery cupboard. You can't use it to exert a lot of force, e.g. to open or close heavy curtains - you'd break it.The model I bought splits into two for travel. I wouldn't get that again: it stops you pulling with it: the two halves come apart (unless you put duct tape round the join). So I'd get the one-piece version.

Magnet weak
I have given this 3 stars as the grip on the handle is better than the NRS brand and is a longer length for the price so value. However I need the magnet to stick to a plug without falling off. Which it can’t do once lifting the stick so returned.
