Epic Provisions Chicken Sriracha Protein Bars, Whole30, Keto Friendly, 12 ct, 18 oz

As I prepared for bariatric surgery, I spent a year losing weight and in doing so looked high and low for good quality protein sources and this brand is a KEEPER!!!!!I cannot do milky protein shakes AT ALL, so wanted to get protein from real foods and this product is an absolute DELIGHT!!!!!!Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Amazing protein bars with a little extra spice

I was a little nervous about these, so I went with what I know - the chicken and Sriracha flavor. It's good! In hindsight I should've found a variety pack so I could try the "weirder" flavors without committing to an entire box, but that'll be for next time. I needed a good source of protein to keep in my purse and at my desk at work in case of emergency snack needs and these fit the bill. I was also told before I bought them they are more of a pepperoni stick texture than jerky and I'd say that's an accurate description. I tried to take a picture of the softer texture with the "skin" on the outside to illustrate.At any rate, it's tasty enough for my baby to throw a fit if I don't share and a good texture to keep him chewing for a bit without having to gnaw on it for hours to eat it.

I originally saw these in a grocery story and tried the lamb flavor which was awesome. Now don't get me wrong, these were pretty tasty also with a slight kick from the sriracha, but they were salty AF. Keep a glass of water handy.They are also a little pricey and I do not love that the variety pack is much more expensive than the individual options. I would have like to try a few different ones before committing to 12 super salty treats.What makes me an expert? I make my own jerky, grew up with jerky, might be part jerk(y).

Tried both the Cherry-Habanero Beef and the Siracha Chicken. Whether or not you like these will depend on what your objective is. The flavor is not great in either case, but the chicken one is better IMHO. If your goal is flavor, you may not like them. However, if your goal is to have food that is readily available, easily stored, and really satisfies hunger, then these bars are a home run. I've tried many bars over time, and these are the best when it comes to the following qualifications:1) Easy to carry in a backpack or pocket2) Easy to store3) Reasonable price4) Satisfies hunger in a pinch.5) Not full of chemicals, exessive salt or sugar6) Reasonable amount of caloriesThey are very dense, so small bites with lots of chewing and some water to drink are the best way to consume them.

Since I found out about this awesome product, I have had one a day. I usually drink it with my black coffee which may sound out but really works for me. Helps me get a snack in and a start to the day. People should note that not all of the Epic bars are Paleo. Check the ingredients. Overall loving them, and this is my favorite protein bar they offer that i have tried.

I got these for in the unlikely event that I would go hiking and after watching a video with a Grand Canyon thru hiker who recommended them, I bought a box. They keep for a long time, very handy in these weird days, and they taste pretty good. A little spicy but not too bad. If you need an on the go snack that tastes good and will fill you up for a bit during a hike or camp out epic provisions are very good for that. Heck they are pretty good for sitting out by the firebowl with an IPA or two. I plan to buy another box soon.

Truly love these, as do the family! I was so sick of sweet protein bars... I found these on a whim, tried one locally and then bought two cases for a Costa Rica trip. I personally only needed one case for the trip but glad I brought the extras bcz by the second day the remaining three family members were begging me to share my epic bars after already getting sick of their 'Q' & 'PC' bars. For some people I've read that the consistency is a hurdle for them, but in my mind... Don't go in with jerky or chicken breast preconceived expectations... I'm fine with the consistency and still would choose an epic bar over many bland proteins like canned albacore or white meat chicken breast. Very tastey and the sodium isn't super high!

These were dry chewy and quite frankly gross. Large disappointment
