Sinvitron Wireless Doorbell Receiver for Sinvitron ABS Material IP44 Waterproof/Dustproof Portable Door-Bell Kit(S01)(1 Receiver)

I'm curious about the reviews in which people complain about how hard it is to "press the button". There is no button. The little bell in the middle is touch sensitive. It takes zero effort to make the bell ring.Set up and installation were very easy as instructions were included. I went with the sticky backing initially to see how well it holds up and so far it hasn't been affected by the 90 degree temps and high humidity. Pairing the receiver and transmitter is done by pressing both buttons on the plugged in unit. Which by the way isn't nearly as big and obtrusive as I expected it to be from the pictures. They look classy and modern unlike the ugly protuberance on my wall associated with the original doorbell.The sound is loud even on a low setting. We've got two of the receivers and with two stories above ground and a basement you can hear both of them from any room. The chimes have a nice variety of melodies, you won't have to pick from 52 different ding-dong noises.We plan on buying a second transmitter for another entrance door. I know this doesn't resemble a typical doorbell but here's the way I look at it. If you approach my door and see that on the door frame and don't try to operate it as a doorbell then you don't deserve to get in my house.

The only thing that would make this perfect would be if it looked more obviously like a traditional doorbell. Sometimes people still knock because they didn't know it was a doorbell. Maybe if it came with a little 3"x3" sign saying "please ring bell" so we could tape it up to the 4x4 we have it attached to by the door it would be PERFECT. OTHERWISE, IT IS DARN CLOSE! It comes with the outdoor button (which, as I said, doesn't look like a doorbell, kind of a textured diamond patterned white box), plus TWO indoor plug-in receivers so that you can place in different ends of house and hear it throughout the Home. Jiffy to install. Waterproof, it says, though we installed where it likely won't be tested for that. Price is right about what I wanted to pay. This would be great, too, if you have an entry gate that you would prefer people stay behind and ring bell before coming up to door. (Again, tho, it needs a sign that points out that it IS a doorbell!). Where we live, tho, mail person, UPS, FedEx, will not open gate if it's closed to deliver packages (maybe because we have "no trespassing" & "beware of dog" signs, I'm not sure), so we leave gate open on that front side of yard and the dog has access to the back side of the yard. I doubt too many others have this problem.... Anyway, we highly recommend this wireless doorbell.

6 months ago I purchased a kit (one transmitter, two receivers). Love it: looks and works great.Now I purchased two additional transmitter to add to SAME receivers. They came with no instruction whatsoever and I have no idea how associate new transmitters to available receivers. They seem to be operational, it least blue light shows when i bring my finger to it but receivers do not sound. I am guessing, I need to link a transmitter to a receiver. But how?There is no link to a manual on internet (google does not find it). No instructions came with transmitters. I did not save all manual because I did not know I will need it. Can anyone help connecting the transmitters?Addition : the seller replied to the post quickly. Here are the steps and they are not complex:Note: Please do the following steps quickly because receiver stays in learning mode only 5 seconds.1. Choose desired ring tone by pressing Music Control Button.2. Set receiver into learning mode by either method below. A chime and LED flashing will indicate the ready status.a) Pressing Volume Control Button on the receiver for 5 seconds.b) Press the Volume and Music Change button on the receiver simultaneously.3. Pair transmitter with receiver by touching on transmitter, receiver will sound the ring tone you choose after getting signal; trigger again to confirm the setting.4. To pair additional transmitter, repeat the steps above. In order to avoid interference, pari 1 transmitter only at any given time.These steps are easy and the whole thing works perfect.Would be nice if a small piece of paper with above instructions was included

The transmitter is really finicky and does not work reliably. You have to push it really hard in order to get it to ring. Sometimes the doorbell will ring even when I can see that nobody is at the door. I have narrowed it down to an issue with the spring inside of the internal mechanism that gets pressed to activate the transmitter - if I disassemble it and put it back together it will work ok for a few days but eventually the spring will get misaligned and cease to work again. Really annoying. I see other reviewers have had a better experience with this product than I did, so it's likely just poor quality control on the manufacturer's behalf.

Nice product. Nice and loud for those who are hard of hearing. Only complaint is that in the winter, the cold sort of messes it up. Holding your hand over the doorbell for a few seconds to "warm it" usually does the trick. Happy that it has a blue light to let the visitor know it's working.

Sound is a little "tinny". I realize the unit is small (good thing), but the sound isn't very full for a majority of the ring tones I went through. It would also be nice to be able to get to a specific ring tone quicker, rather than having to scroll through all of them. I did not get a list of all the ring tones with my unit either.

Attractive design, easy to install, good volume on the ringer. This one has the option of screws or adhesive for mounting. I wish I had purchased this years ago!

The price of this unit has doubled since I purchased it for $9.99....Set up is effortless, two receivers are placed at either ends of the house and volume is loud. Have only had unit for about 2weeks, so will see how these will hold up...
